I was excited to see that this salt/pepper grinder is on the smaller side so it's just right for me. I live alone and I'm not a heavy pepper eater. Most other grinders are giant-size and way too big for my use. Now, I have this smaller one to use for pepper and a bigger one for my salt (which I use more of). It has a simple design and an adjustable grinder so it's easy to select how fine I want my pepper ground with a simple twist. A glass bottle and stainless steel parts make this a durable little grinder and I look forward to putting it to good use.

This salt and pepper grinder is a nice size, expecially for those who do not have a lot of space.Of course, that means you have to fill it more often, but that is easy enough to do. Especially since it comes with a funnel that is not only functional but collapsible and easy to store.The grinder is adjustable, and seems to work well for both pepper and coarse salt.Note, the listing makes a point of advertising that it is ceramic, and therefore rust-proof. This is a half-truth. Yes, the mill is ceramic. But it is on a metal shaft, with an adjustment knob that is held on by a metal nut on metal threads. So, if you use salt, especially in a humid environment, the chances are good that this will begin to rust, eventually.Not the most luxurious item, but a great value for less than ten bucks.Overall, I was pleased.

This is a really nice compact grinder, with a sleek, modern look. The stainless steel and clear glass look great together, and I really like the design - simple, straight, clean lines. The glass lets you see how much spice/salt/pepper/whatever you have left. It's a great size, not huge, but not tiny either - like Goldilocks says, it's just right. I appreciate the little collapsible funnel that came with it, although the opening to the glass jar section is large enough I'm not sure I'll ever need to use it. I do like the bright color of the funnel, I won't lose it in my crowded kitchen drawer. And the cleaning brush is awesome, too. Highly recommend!

Excellent quality grinder with an adjustable mechanism that can either grind a very fine powder or large loose chunks. The grinder is easy to hold and it also has a smooth turning mechanism. The grinder itself isn't heavy and it also has an elegant style that would accent any table very well. It also comes with a little broom thing and funnel with a really wide mouth, which I haven't really had to use either, but it's nice to have if I wanted to make it simpler to refill the grinder. If anyone is looking for a pepper/salt/etc grinder at a good price I highly recommend this one.

I really appreciate the convenience of this grinder. It came safely packaged and very quickly. So I started playing with it immediately. I don't have a lot of cabinet space and I can't afford to put a big salt grinder in there! This one is about half of the size of what one usually sees people owning and using. I don''t always need a salt grinder like this, but sometimes I do. One example is for when I make bread. I don't use regular salt in my bread like we usually consume which contains IODINE. There are a few things in kitchen art that advise us DO NOT USE SALT THAT CONTAINS IODINE!!! So, Himalayan salt, Kosher salt and Sea Salt are all beautifully IODINE FREE. HOWEVER, they usually come in very large granules. If you've ever made bread, you'll know that we need fine salt though a small amount. I easily filled this little salt grinder with the collapsible, enclosed funnel that was included with it. It took me only a few seconds to grind the amount of salt I would need for a 2lb loaf of bread in my recipe. The turns are easy and not strenuous on the hands. Previously, I was having to subtract a few ounces of water from the water part of the recipe and then add the coarse salt to that set aside water and wait for it to dissolve....unfortunately, adding it back to the dry ingredients doesn't really allow the cook to mix the salt evenly. It is much better to have a fine grain salt to sprinkle within the dry ingredients to mix evenly in it. My bread has proven to be better and better as the years go by and this is one of the reasons...I've become picky! The unit is inexpensive and very practical and can be used for EITHER salt or pepper. I'll probably buy another one because there is definitely a better flavor in ground peppercorns than in pre-ground. (though they're both good!). Sometiimes, I do canning projects and I like the idea that I can easily grind kosher salt, now than try to dissolve it). Also, I have friends who swear that using Himalayan salt has improved their health so I'll probably be giving that a go as well, now that I have this perfect little unit! Oh, and now I might have to get a pepper grinder to match!

I wanted a second grinder for white peppercorns, which I use much less frequently than the black. This grinder is perfect!It’s about the size of a spice jar, with the same great features as other well made grinders. Surprisingly, I am enamored of the silicone folding funnel that comes with it. I have plenty of funnels, but except for the largest one, the openings thru which the product must flow is too small…there’s no actual flow, but a stopped up funnel that takes a lot of monkeying around with to clear.This funnel folds up (yay) and has a nice large hole. It was so easy to fill this grinder with my peppercorns! I will gladly be using it for lots of spices, as I encounter this issue constantly.My one beef is no instructions came with the item. Had to consult the product page to figure the funnel out, but given how much I like it, the extra effort was worth it.(Upon trying it out, it worked well, and put out nicely ground white pepper. No idea about durability, of course.)Also, can’t beat the value! If you’re in the market for a nicely sized grinder, this is the one!
