Hooked this onto my djembe and took one stroke to the djembe for the whole thing to fall apart. The metal D hooks are complete garbage and both cracked under the weight of a small 12.5" headed carved wood djembe. Maybe a lighter djembe would be ok, but I'd be worried continued play would cause the same thing to happen. Too bad, I really liked the strap and design. But, my djembe fell to the floor and now has a nice big chip in the carving thanks to this strap.

Not well put together. The strap clips broke while trying it on. Holds drum in awkward position. Not worth the purchase.

I love this strap for my djembe. Highly adjustable, well padded, strong. A fairly large person could fit this. I'm an average sized woman and have a lot of room to spare on this strap, but it will still easily accommodate someone small.
