This pepper-mill showed up totally unpacked dropped in a box loose and was not half full with peppercorns as advertised.Luckily it wasn’t dinged/damaged during transit. Disappointed no peppercorns. For the price it should be carefully wrapped and filled with pepper.

Nice grinder, as expected. Feels nice in the hand and easily adjustable. Did not come pre-filled with peppercorns (fine by me) as other reviews stated, but the packaging is still lax (only a plastic sleeve in a box). So the mill did have a dent on it on arrival. Peugeot, fix your packaging!! Even a foam sleeve would have prevented denting. Also fits less peppercorns than expected - I got the 7” and it fits half the contents of a trader joes pepper grinder.

I was paid more to buy Peugeot thinking it would be better quality. The looks are great, but the grind and functionality of the product are awful. You can barely ever get the mill to “catch” to actually grind the peppercorns. I constantly have to shake it to reposition the peppercorns to actually be ground. Screw is always coming loose on top and “settings” are virtually useless because you cannot get it to grind anyway. This replaced a mill I had from Crate and Barrel for 15 years which was much better (but finally broke).

I’ve owned a Peugeot grinder before (they sell cars too?) and it finally wore out. I tried another brand but returned it as the mechanism was cheap and the grinding erratic. Hoping to enjoy this for years!

E' un ottimo macinapepe con l'anima in acciaio e non in plastica. Molto bello anche esteticamente. Ormai lo uso da qualche mese e mi trovo benissimo. Non fatevi ingannare: IL PRODOTTO ARRIVA CON IL PEPE IN DOTAZIONE: Leggete l'adesivo sul libretto rosso a corredo del vostro macinapepe. E' chiaramente scritto anche se in francese. Quindi NON E' USATO. Straconsigliato.
