Fit my old Realistic LAB-2100 perfect although I ended up upgrading to a better head that doesn't look as nice.

I do not have a microscope at hand so I have to invest some faith that the stylus purchased here is the Elliptical version which I paid for and not a conical profile. The item pictured is silver/grey with a green E on the top but my delivered stylus is of solid green plastic. without any apparent identifying marks my old-person eyes can read.A response (of assurance?) here, from the seller, would be great. Thank You·The stylus was easily installed (into my Realistic LAB-1600 and the sound is noticeably better than the ‘needle’ I took out.

Using this in Technics SL-J2 with an audio technica cartridge. Perfect Match and sounds very good to my ears. Thank you for providing this service. Another record player saved from the dump.

My system is a product of the 70s, and my ears are a product of the late 40s. To me and my friends, the sound quality of this needle is great. A great deal for the price.

The book is clearly written. The uniquely Irish elements of each tune are analyzed and a bit of historical context is included. The title of each tune is announced just before it is played. I don't know why all music recordings don't render this service. It is especially helpful on purely instrumental CD's. Tunes are played slowly and well. I listen to the CD for pleasure and memorization of the tunes before I even touch the fiddle. Well worth the investment. Also,a word to publishers out there....I refuse to buy instructional materials without the hard copy CD. I do not study music or listen to it on computer.
