We ordered this product twice. The first one we received had obviously been opened and repackaged. We sent it back and asked for a replacement. The replacement arrived and we popped a batch of pop corn. We used the recommended amount of kernels. Only 1/2 of the kernels popped. The other half just blew out of the machine unpopped. I cannot recommended this corn popper.

Absolute junk ! Do not waste your money.More kernels “don’t” pop than do. No way to direct the popcorn as it comes out ! Total waste of money. Threw it in the trash.

This popper did not work for me at all. The machine started blowing out kernels everywhere as soon as the machine started, once the kernels popped it continuously blew the popped corn mixed with more kernels until done. I was catching them with the biggest container I had but it almost looked like a fountain spitting everywhere.

I am giving it 2 stars because it’s cute, but there are so many things wrong with this popcorn machine.1. EXTREMELY hot to the touch…on any part of the machine. Yes, I realize that it is a hot air popping machine, but this is insanely hot from the jump.2. The popcorn seeds shoot out as soon as it starts stirring. I am going to say that a good 1/3-1/2 of the amount of seeds that you add will come right back out.3. No butter dish, although it is noted in the description that there is.4. No cup to pour seeds into the machine, which again is in the description.I am sure that I will be returning this. It’s just not a good value for the money. My 2 year old grand baby likes to help with popping corn and this is so hot, that I cannot allow him to even come close to it. There are many more options for the price. Pleasesave your time and money and purchase differently.

The air is forceful enough to blow the popped kernels out of the chamber as fast as they pop, while sitting level on the counter. In contrast, my previous one needed to be tilted back to keep the unpopped kernels from clattering into the bowel in the first minute, and then tilted forward to help the popcorn spill out if there were still unpopped kernels slowing down the air flow. This one leaves my hands free to sprinkle salt and oil into my bowl as it fills, and even to step away for the first minute or so to get them. The chamber is often empty by the end; no need to dump out unpopped kernels before reuse. Those are the advantages. But the downside is that the kernels blow out hard enough to bounce out of the bowl. (Some competing products show popcorn flying everywhere with a pile next to the bowl, presumably trying to look exciting but maybe they're just being more honest than the ones showing the popcorn forming a neat heap inside the bowl.) I thought it might be designed to place paper popcorn bags under the mouth they exit from; it's narrow enough and about the right height. I'm ordering some and will try that. But my model came with a small supply of flattened red-striped popcorn bags that turned out to be plastic. The machine can't dispense right into those. Setting aside whatever unhealthy chemicals might be released by heating them, they can't even be used to catch the popcorn (only as serving vehicles later) since they immediately shrivel up from the heat. (And when I use a metal bowl, it gets almost too hot to handle.)My model came with a instructions claiming there was a serving cup included, with a drawing of a small hemispherical cup. None was included. The lid is about the right volume to use as a very shallow measuring cup, but is not what was pictured in the drawing.

I used this for the first time. Not impressed. Popcorn everywhere and only half of the kernels popped. I tried it again with the same results. I only used 1/4 cup for some control, flying kernels and popped corn. So I'm returning it.

My family loves popcorn, but I wanted to move away from microwaved popcorn and I didn't want to go with anything stove top because they need oil to pop effectively. This is a air popper, no oil.The following is my opinion on it.Fast and easy: It makes a big batch of popcorn in just a few minutes, which is perfect for when you're craving a snack or want to share with friends.Delicious popcorn: The hot air method produces perfectly fluffy popcorn with minimal oil, making it a healthier option.Easy to clean: The removable chute and cool air function make cleaning a breeze. Just wipe it down and you're good to go!for the most part, there is almost no need to clean the machine unless you use the included butter tray, which I recommend against and will explain below. Simply use a damp cloth to wipe the machine and your done. If you do use the butter tray, its apparently safe although I have never tried.Butter tray: if you refridgerate your butter, it will not be warm long enough to melt your butter. Either way, you will have to use a stove or microwave, so best to avoid heating in the plastic bowl to begin with. Also, anything greasy is always a pain to truely remove from plastic so I use use a small glass bowl in the microwave which is much more efficient at melting and reduces machine cleaning. Plus it also avoids any chance of getting the fan/blower accidentally exposed to butter.Noise: Its alittle loud. On par with an average blow dryer loud. It doesn't wake up my kids when we use it late at night but you can definetely hear it in any room in the house while its running. Make no mistakes about it, this is not a quiet device.Efficiency: This is where it falls short with me. The fan/blower is strong enough to shoot the odd kernal up and into my bowl. For the first minute or two while the kernals are heating, I find myself often collecting and throwing them back in. I've learned to put a wooden spoon or a heating pad under the front to tip the machine towards the back, which helps keep the kernals in until they pop, but not a fool proof solution. If I had to make an educated guess, I would say 5-8% of what ends up in the bowl is unpopped kernals.Chute: hit and miss here, the first few that pop are always a guess as to whether they stay in the bowl or fly past it. Once there is enough build up in the chute, it prevents the popcorn from rocketing out and then they gracefully fall into the bowl.Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with the Hot Air Popcorn Maker. It's a fantastic product that makes delicious popcorn in a flash. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and easy way to enjoy popcorn at home.

Ero un po' scettica ma mi sono dovuta ricredere, funziona benissimo, una manciata di mais, 3 minuti alla potenza del microonde (800 W) e sono scoppiati tutti benissimo! Croccanti e gustosi, senza sporcare padelle o altro. Consiglio!
