Our twins are constantly dropping the paci's on the ground since they can't make up their mind what they want and we haven't decided to buy the little paci clips for some reason and this little device comes in clutch time after time. The 3 minute disinfectant timeline is perfect for when you need a pacifier clean quickly, but don't have access to soap and water. The size of the devices is great for easy storage inside our diaper bag and it charges super quick so we feel confident that it's always ready for us when we need it. We also use a variety of different pacifiers, and we have not run into one yet that wont fit inside of this device, so the size is actually pretty perfect for that as well.

I also bought pacifier clips to help prevent drops, but let’s be honest - pacifiers still end up on the floor. This little unit gives peace of mind whether it’s cleaning up a dropped one or just giving it a quick run-through before popping it back in baby’s mouth.It works as advertised - the light comes on and shuts off after the timed cycle. Now, I obviously can’t run a test to verify that 99.99% of germs are killed, but it *appears* to function correctly, and that’s really the best you can expect with this kind of product. Plus, it can be used on bottle nipples and probably other small baby items I’ve long since forgotten about.Overall, I’m really happy with it and think it’ll be a thoughtful and practical addition to their basket. Hope they love it as much as I would have!

I got this UV sanitizer not for pacifiers, but to sterilize my dental nightguard. I always clean my nightguard thoroughly with soap after use and before storing it for the day, but I wanted that extra protection of sterilizing it with UV light before I put it in my mouth at night. (This machine sanitizes to kill germs, but doesn’t clean dirt, etc. – so always clean and dry whatever you’re putting in it first). This looked cute and round on the Amazon page and seemed like it might work well for my nightguard.When I got this, however, I was very surprised by how little it is. It’s about the size of a baseball. I have a small mouth and my nightguard is not very big, but it won’t even lay flat in there. I have to angle it a little sideways to get it to fit with the lid completely closed. If anyone wants to use this for pacifiers, they better be small ones! None of those cutesy ones with decorative designs or fancy handle features would probably fit in here.EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS: 2 ¾” wide, 2 ½” high.INTERIOR DIMENSIONS: 2 7/16” wide (side to side), 2” deep (front to back in the bottom tray), and 2” high.Luckily, since my nightguard did fit in this tiny thing, I was in business. First, I charged it up, which didn’t take too long. It has a red indicator light on the front when charging that turns off when it’s done. Then, I opened it up, which took a little tug because it has a strong magnetic closure. That’s good, because that means it won’t just open up willy-nilly if you’re carrying it by the strap or it rolls over. Then, I simply put in my nightguard, closed the lid, and pressed the button once.It immediately started working, and the indicator light on the front was blue. I could see through the top safety window that there is a little UV LED light in the bottom that was filling the chamber with light (there’s another hard-to-see UV LED just inside the front, opposite the button). It says it has 360-degree UV-C technology, but I honestly don’t know how those 2 little LEDs can do that, without a light near the top. But maybe they do! Just to be sure, though, I tilted the machine until my nightguard turned over to the other side so I could sanitize both sides with the light in the bottom of the tray.Just for testing purposes, I opened the lid while it was working and the UV light instantly went out. Great safety mechanism! The minute I closed the lid again, it started back up to finish the 3-minute cycle, after which it automatically shut off. If I use this every night for 3 minutes, and they say the battery lasts for 180 minutes of use, then I should be able to use this 60 times before recharging. Two months! Wow! It comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable, but no charging block – that’s on you. It also doesn’t have any kind of silicone plug covering the USB charging port, so this is not a waterproof device - don’t immerse this in water!As long as your pacifier or other item fits within the Interior Dimensions stated above, then you can happily use this UV sanitizer. Aside from the tiny size, it’s a nice quality product and it works great for me! I would recommend it!
