I don’t usually leave reviews, but this plate makes the motor hang down way to low and un level so your portable winch cuts off due to it not being on A flat surface.

The mount works, but it could have been a little more snug to have a better platform for the wench to rest on.

Having recently purchased a gas powered Porta Winch, I also bought some accessories to use with it. The Portable Winch Hitch Plate Anchor is not designed to support the winch. Upon first use, the winch sat forward actually tipped down and gas poured out of the tank. I then added a 1"x 4" board to support the winch between the plate and the winch. This resolved the forward tipped winch. The Porta Winch works great, the Portable Winch Hitch Plate Anchor needs to go back to the drawing board.
