Installed this into a 2006 Honda FourTrax Rancher AT400 (TRX400FA). Instructions are a little hard to follow, but once you place the mount into the frame, and move it around you’ll figure it out.

First order came (slowly) factory sealed with incorrect parts. Contacted WARN to see if they could send correct parts and save me a bunch of hassle. They instructed me that I needed to exchange it with Amazon, which was a frustrating waste of time but I sort of understand. Now the second one showed up (equally slow), exactly the same wrong parts. Contacted WARN again and pleaded with them to just send me the bracket I needed. Thankfully after going back and forth they agreed to send correct parts to me. It took over a month of back and forth with exchanges and emailing CS but I finally got everything.Installation went well, instructions give a very good description, which is a critical because the b&w photos are unfortunately useless. It also appears that the design has changed at some point, and the instructions weren’t updated which is industry standard. Anyway, it’s important you pay attention to the different sized U-bolts and their associated hardware. I installed a WARN VR-S 25 which is probably overkill for a Honda rancher this size, but the lighter winch looked cheap and I didn’t trust it. Also wanted synthetic line as it’s been great on my 10k lb winch. Overall happy with the product once I received the correct parts. But I’m knocking 2 stars, 1 for each of the factory sealed boxes being wrong and 1 for WARN support not standing behind their product like I expect. I pay a lot of extra money for their products for the farm, even now that they hardly make anything in the USA anymore, and it shows unfortunately. But I assumed if I got in a jam they would get me out quickly and efficiently. And now I know what to expect.

Bought new Warn winch amd mount. This mont is to mount the winch to the ATV. is It's just a mount. Nothing special. It works great!

The installation and mounting hardware worked out great. It is clear and easy to do. Just make sure you remove and the use the hardware from the front skid plate. I would not tighten the bolts all the way until it is mounted so you can make slight adjustments

Proper installation requires blending instructions for winch installation and mounting system in the proper order. While not too difficult, plan a little extra time. Mount securely attaches to frame and once installed, should provide a lifetime of service.
