Good Controller once you change out the battery--This controller took about 15 minutes of extra work to get up and running with a new battery.I got this controller for my 5-year old kid, and it is perfect for smaller hands--however, the original battery was dead on arrival and would not charge. I initially purchased an extra long cable, but I didn't really like that solution.Somebody else left some pictures on his review about how he changed out the battery, and I tried to do the same. I had to used a different battery than that person suggested because his suggestion was too big to fit in the space. I used "Be oneself 3.7V 600mAh Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery 2.22wh 14A06 BPI Li-ion for #16", available on Amazon. Just make sure the battery dimensions are 32 mm x 20 mm x 5.0 mm.Also, I have no idea how to solder anything so I used Splice Joints UY Connector 2-Port Network Wire Connectors that I got from the hardware store. I think they are for old telephone wires, but they worked perfectly. All you need are the connectors and some pliers to crimp them. They are little connectors that you stick the wires into, then clamp down to lock the wires. I was able to fit the connectors inside the controller and close it back up. If you try to fix your controller, just remember to cut the old battery wire as close to the old battery as possible so that you have enough wire to work with.

DO NOT BUY THIS! Biggest waste of money EVER!, you need to keep this pad connected by wire (not included) so no Bluetooth at all, plus the USb you get with it needs to be plugged in to work, so why the wire then? worse of all there's no actual rechargeable battery inside it hence the permanent need for a wire, lastly it won't turn on your ps3 so you will need an official controller to do this, yep it's garbage, AVOID!!

So I checked reviews for small wireless controllers so my son could play along. I picked this one because it had... OK reviews and couldn't find any other decent small wireless controller...Got mine delivered quickly, the fit and finish were pretty good, plugged in the dongle and of course, it was never charged so plugged in the USB cable and it looked to play fine! Left it plugged a few hours and when I unplugged it, no charge! Left it overnight, the next morning, no difference, just a dead blue piece of plastic when not hooked up to the USB charge cable.I then asked a friend with an older gen ps3 (the model that plays ps2 games) and he confirmed that it would not charge up! I even plugged it into my PC and laptop with no change. So I sent it back for an exchange, you would seriously have to be unlucky to get a 2nd lemon, right? Right?Turns out I am unlucky! Went through the same things with the 2nd controller. Plays fine while everything's plugged, heck even plays fine when plugged into the PC (with the dongle) but as soon as the USB cable is removed, it again died, even after hours of charging!Biggest waste of packaging ever!

The controller looks and feels amazing. The sticks are tight and buttons raised nicely. This was purchased as a gift for my son to use with Disney Infinity. Its smaller size is certainly a plus for kids. However, we were met with disappointment right out of the gate. The battery is toast. It will only work on the cable. It never finishes charging. You can research this controller across the web and even Amazon to find battery failure is common. I hate to leave negative feedback but it simply has a high failure rate. An unfortunate return.

Consigliato a chi vorrebbe usare il pad dell'Xbox sulla Play, veramente fantastico. Da una completa ed appagante sensazione di comodità.

I've seen this controller at my local brick and mortar stores with a price around $40 plus tax. Purchasing it from Amazon through 5 Star Gaming was definitely a better choice as I was able to purchase two "used, like new" controllers (Translation: Near Mint Condition with wires and dongle, but no box) for less than the price of one. The controller is a good size and fits comfortably in my hands. Even with the Xbox 360 joystick layout, I had no difficulty using the D-pad for gameplay. Syncing to the PS3 is a breeze too. I plugged the USB dongle into the PS3, connected the charge wire to the controller (controller was dead at the time), and turned on the PS3 via the console's power button. Once the PS3 booted up, all I had to do was press the Home button on the controller and in seconds, the controller was detected and worked flawlessly. One of the benefits that this controller has over the Sony PS3 controllers is that you can plug it into ANY Mini-USB charger and it will charge with no quarrels, even during gameplay. The Sony PS3 controller, however, will only charge when connected to a source that recognizes it as both a USB controller and has a 5v output (like the PS3 or a computer). Be warned though, most outlet chargers have a 5v at 1A output whereas the PS3 and any computer put out 5v at 500mA on a USB line. Higher amperage will make the controllers charge faster, but I can't guarantee if repeat charging on a higher than intended amperage is good for the battery's longevity. As for the PC compatibility, I knew that the controller used an RF USB dongle to communicate, so I figured it would work with my PC as well just the same as any other wireless peripheral. After charging the controller, I plugged the dongle into my PC and it was installed with no problems. Hit the Home button on the controller and it synced in seconds. I currently use a PS2 controller with a USB adapter to play on my PC, but a wireless solution is a definite upgrade. While I'm certainly glad that I bought two the first time around, I had to pick up two more from 5 Star Gaming for my siblings. I only wish I had purchased my first one sooner... Now, what to do with all these old PS2 controllers?Update January 5th, 2014:After a year and a half, one out of the four controllers developed issues with the left joystick wanting to move in whatever direction it wanted to choose. Mine was a combination of neutral/center and up, so if I were moving a character forward, they would stop momentarily and start walking again. Not wanting to deal with the hassle of a warranty replacement (and wanting to sate my tinkering needs), I decided to try to fix it myself.I found an awesome Instructable from 0Troy regarding joysticks and potentiometers. Google "Fixing a flaky xbox analog stick" and it will be the first Instructable that comes up. You only need a soldering iron, you don't even need to know how to solder. The only thing that I would suggest is that you hold the soldering iron in place until the solder liquifies. Depending on the wattage of your iron, this may take more than the two seconds 0Troy states. After literally a minute of work with a soldering iron, the left stick was working like new again. Since the left stick is of the same design as the right stick and my controller was already disassembled, I redid the solder on the right stick as well. While this is a setback of sorts, it's good to know that the controller was very easy to repair. I don't see the need to drop the rating on this item as it's still my favorite controller to use for my PC and PS3. I might even consider buying a Cronus Max device so I can use it on my 360 as well!
