I absolutely love this aquarium. This is the 7 gallon size. I've been through a few different tanks and this one is perfect for me. It is high quality, clarity is amazing (pictures really don't do it justice), love the filter system, the light is bright and covers the entire area (also has blue lights), and the full hood is very sturdy (which is very important since my cat loves to visit with my betta fish). I did not try out the heater that came with the tank because I already had one and I just used that one. I had so many problems with the other tanks I tried. I did not like any of their filters and had issues with my water measurements. My water has been great with this system. I actually love this aquarium so much I just ordered the 21 gallon tank to put in my family room for some glofish tetras.

We recently introduced the JumblPets Premium Fish Aquarium Kit, a 7-gallon setup, into my wife's classroom, and it's been quite the hit. Offering a complete package, this kit simplifies the process of bringing a little piece of aquatic life into educational spaces. It's packed with almost everything needed to get started - from LED lighting and a filtration system to a heater, thermometer, and even a net.Effortless Setup, Instant EnjoymentPutting this tank together was a breeze, a real plug-and-play experience that had us up and running in mere minutes. It's not the fanciest tank on the market, but for its purpose in a classroom setting, it's been perfect. We've stocked it with neon tetras, a few other tetra varieties, and an aquatic frog, creating a vibrant, living ecosystem that both educates and fascinates the students.A Small Quirk in DesignThe kit isn't without its quirks, though. The pump's design, which hangs with a long arm reaching to the tank's bottom, was a bit odd. We found ourselves needing to trim the downpipe to prevent it from disturbing the substrate. It's a minor adjustment, but something to keep in mind for those looking to maintain a particular aesthetic or substrate depth.A Welcoming Nano HabitatOverall, the JumblPets Aquarium Kit has proven to be a delightful addition to my wife's classroom. It's a manageable size for a busy setting yet offers enough space to create a diverse and engaging underwater scene. Aside from the small hiccup with the pump, it's been a straightforward, enjoyable way to introduce students to the wonders of aquatic life. For anyone considering a nano tank for educational purposes or simply as an introduction to aquarium keeping, this kit from JumblPets comes highly recommended. It combines ease of use with a comprehensive set of features, making the underwater world accessible and enjoyable for all.

After taking a chance with the sellers first attempt to make tanks and receiving a substandard aquarium, I thought twice about ordering this tank. After carefully looking at the new line they have come out with since the first fiasco, it appears that the bad review I gave the first model may have helped. They have done away with the lining under the tank, filtration system has been modified and works as it is supposed to. I do wish they would have left the light alone as the new version is extremely bright and had no adjustment at all. Overall I am pleased with the tank and will like it even more after the new light is put in. Would have loved to hear from the seller after the first tank I bought, but nothing at all from them ; even with all the problems.

This is a nice glass aquarium and I like its shape. The filtration system, however, is a complete joke. There is a non-removable tray that goes across the back of the aquarium that blocks the light. It's convoluted how you set it up and the pieces come apart way too easily. The adjustability is nonexistent even though there is a valve that is supposed to control the flow. It was blowing my fish all over the tank because it would not reduce.I had my husband take a hacksaw to that whole back tray for the filtration system and remove it. He also removed the hinges so now I can completely remove the top if I want to. I replaced the filtration with an internal filter with a UV sanitizer.I am much happier with it now but for the price I paid, I should not have had to go through all of that work. I would never recommend this tank. PS. I had to return the first one that I received because the light would not turn on.
