I ordered a sim card and set up Jolt Mobile on a GPS tracker. I did not reactive or continue service and now keep getting charges monthly from them. I have called and the support/customer service are non-American and I cannot understand them. This company will continue to bill you monthly even if you cancel the service and they don't understand english. STAY AWAY from this mobile company.

I used to burn through data like nobody’s business, always stressed about hidden fees or dropped coverage when I was out in the sticks. This prepaid SIM came to the rescue—straight up gave me that sweet 5G or 4G LTE connection on the AT&T network without any fancy contracts. Slapped it in my unlocked phone, activated online, and bam, service was ready to roll.Road trips got a whole lot smoother. I fired up GPS without glitching, streamed my playlists, and never once had to deal with a busted signal. Even my pals in rural areas could connect when we were tailgating, so it’s not just for city folks. The data bucket size was solid, and I could top it up whenever I felt like it. No random overage charges creeping up on me.One time, I used it in a hotspot device to keep a couple tablets running for a group project. We all hammered the connection, and it held up like a champ. Didn’t matter if we were sending emails or video chatting, it kept up without a hitch. That’s the kind of reliability I can respect.People sometimes sleep on prepaid plans, but I’m digging the freedom and the lack of a locked-in contract. It’s an easy go-to whenever I need a dependable data backup or a main line without the drama.

Cheap, easy and fast. It's that simple. Put the SIM in your device, go online to activate it and you are done. Need more data? Buy it. It's that simple. Comparable rates to all others on the market and a long, 90-day window on the 6GBs of data you get are nice features. If you use voice over LTE this will work well for you and offer crystal clear phone calls. It got the standard coverage anything gets in my area and of course is faster in town.

I went online and activated the SIM did all the programming step by step but still doesn't work. Says provider plan needed I login and it states that it's been activated. Feels like a scam! Zero stars if possible . Good thing I bought the cheapest one to test it out first

I've never heard of Jolt Mobile, but had been wanting to try out the AT&T network around my home to see if they'd be a network that would be worth considering for my family's needs in the future. This literally is a SIM card, and was just thrown in the Amazon box that it came in, amongst several other things I'd recently ordered.I'd had an old Android phone I wanted to utilize this SIM card in. It does have the 3-in-1 SIM card, so depending on what size of sim your phone takes, it should be sufficient. The backer card for the sim says to go to activatejolt.com, which I did, and I entered the SIM card number. That's where the problems began. It told me the "sim number is invalid." I triple checked I hadn't missed any numbers, and couldn't get it to work.I ended up calling customer service, who is clearly located in India (no offense to Indians), but he was able to assist me in getting the SIM card activated. He did insist I provide a credit card for billing, which I wasn't thrilled about, and I asked him NOT to enable autopay. We'll see if that remains the case in 3 months. He then told me to put the sim in the phone, and wait up to 24 hours before everything would activate.I did so, and wait I did. over 48 hours went by, and no change. The android phone did reflect AT&T as the network, but said it could be used for "emergency calls." There were no status bars showing the cell signal showing up at all.I finally called customer service, again, who basically told me they'd send me an email with "instructions on how to troubleshoot." Turns out there is a specific APN and a few other codes you have to enter to make it work properly. My bad, those were on the original backer card included with the Jolt sim. After entering those in, the phone came to life. Now, this Android phone is only 4G, but I was pretty disappointed running a speed test. We were lucky to break 20 mbps. It was really in the low teens in most of my testing. Now, I get it, that's really quite sufficient for nearly everything you'd do on a phone. Even streaming 4k takes less than 30 mbps to do. I was just hoping to see a little better service, especially since AT&T literally has a tower down the street from my home. All in all, the setup process wasn't ideal, and I do want to pull the sim out and put it in a 5G capable device to see if service is any better, but I was hoping for a little more. At $49, this isn't horribly priced, but there are better alternatives out there for $16/month. US Mobile has their unlimited starter for $15/month for 3 months which incudes over 30GB of premium data vs Jolt's 6 GB. Visible has unlimited data for $20/month right now. Mint has their specials of around $15/month as well. If you're after AT&T service, however, this could be a solid option.
