Myself and my brothers and friends have been using these for many years. There is no better way to flush your engine's cooling system. Just run a flushing chemical using it's directions, then flush through the Prestone T system. It will remove rust and corrosion and leave you with a clean system. Then just drain and use your preferred coolant.

I put a Prestone flush kit on each vehicle I own. Sure make flushing and replacement easy. And for less than $4 I get 3 Ts and the clamps.

The product looked like it had been previously opened. However, all the parts seem to be there. I have used these before and if you want to really flush the cooling system, this is the item to do it with.Note: The first one I had in this car started leaking and shattered when I attempted to take it off the hose. It had been on the car for fourteen years. So, if you plan to keep and run anything you put it on, I would suggest changing it at least once every ten years. They don't last forever, but they come close.

I literally could not tell you how many cars I have installed these on. Most often, they are of the pavement pounding beater variety, in dire need of a flush. I cannot think of one time when this kit did not do what I expected of it. Pro-tip(s): Don't forget to turn your heat on - you do NOT need to have the blower motor on, but turning it all the way into the red ensures you have coolant running through the heater core. Remove your thermostat for the best results - when you are running cold hose water, that thermostat may never open and you really aren't flushing the entire system. Only turn the hose on as much as you need - turn it up until it just starts to overflow. Your hose at full blast can be 45 to even 80psi, your cooling system runs at just 15psi. If your heater core is at the end of its life, 45psi can do it in. If you do blow your heater core out, don't blame this kit - your core was months away from blowing out all on its own!

Wasn’t sure about this, but it worked like a charm on an old rusty 95 Wrangler. This kit let me flush the system until it ran clear in about 1/2 hour, instead of doing 4 or 5 more full flushes through the rad drain plug. Super pleased. And left it in place for future use. It won’t last for ever, because it’s just plastic; but it’s a great, cheap, effective temporary tap.

Only work if you have an old car with a "radiator cap" and an American style garden hose end. Very disappointing, went straight in the bin.

Used this product to do a full system flush on my 2000 Buick LeSabre equipped with a 3800 series 2 V6. I cut into the heater hose near the back of the engine, slipped the adapter on, opened the rad cap and hooked the hose up to the adapter. It worked great and flushed all the old Dex-cool coolant out. I even managed to refill some of the system by pumping some of the new coolant into the adapter.After everything was finished and the rad was filled with new fluid, I put the cap (that came with the kit) on the adapter and have left it since. It's been over two weeks, have had coolant temps as high as 230 degrees, no sign of any leaks whatsoever from the adapter, it appears to be holding up great. If you have the general know-how and a few basic tools, would definitely recommend. It will make future flushes and refills far easier and faster now.
