Best cutter I’ve used to date. Straight cuts, I do miss my wavy cuts but not the stress and disappointment when they didn’t come out straight and ruined the whole soap loaf.

This cutter is one of the nest so far. Only downfall is the cleaning can be a bit difficult. I do recommend ensuring your bolts are very tight so your size doesn't change as you go. Easy to store.

I am very happy to have purchased this soap cutter, and it has greatly improved my soap-making experience! The adjustable wire allow for precise, uniform cuts, which enhance the presentation of my soaps.Well built, and it's incredibly easy to set up and use, saving me time during the cutting process. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced soap maker, I highly recommend this tool.

You'll want to wipe off the wire after each cut especially if there are 'chunks' in your soap.If the soap is harder, you'll want to cut slowly to avoid putting too much stress on that wire or the bolts holding it. Probably easy to reattach the wire if it did, but no need to rush & take a chance.Kind of pricey for what it is but it does its job well. If you're selling or giving away soap & you want it to look more professional, you'll want one of these.

I wasn’t prepared to buy a twelve bar cutter and using a knife or single hand wire cutter was too hard. Didn’t know what to expect and was happy I had purchased this. The cutter was easy to put together and made of solid wood. The wires are strong and can be manually tightened. I did find that I had to keep tightening the wires during use until I hit the sweet spot. Only once did I over tighten and break it! Not to worry, the package included extra wire!!The device is pretty easy to clean. Hot water and the soap residue clean it up nicely. Recommend drying right away to avoid any issues with the wood. The measuring tool for cutting the bars worked great and I can now slice my soap loads quickly and precisely. My only issue is that the guide slots for the wire could be higher/tighter. I have cut some bars and they are not completely straight - but that could be my operation of the cutter. Overall, great starter for the soap maker who needs to be more efficient.

I broke every single wire cutting not even 24hour cured soap. It does not cut all the way through either. I even tried cutting cheese with it and it still broke the wire.

I bought this to cut my home made soaps and used it maybe 10 times before the plastic piece that keeps the soap size stable stripped out from the screw and now none of my soaps come out the same size. Today it broke completely and now I need to find some other part or the entire thing is useless. I’m very disappointed since this seemed so good at first. Spend an extra 10$ and get a better product and make sure all the operational pieces are metal.

I had trouble with the first one I received as the little black knob was broken in the package. Now that I have my new one I couldn’t be happier. Takes all of 20 seconds to put together, cuts straight, has a built in ruler. So easy to use. Only reason I bought it was bc I was getting 3 good bars of soap out of a 3lb loaf bc my cuts were so crooked. Now I’m getting 9-10 per loaf 1 inch thick depending on which direction I cut it from. I love this thing!
