Product Description

ANT-127-002 4G 5G Omnidirectional Outdoor Antenna

Proxicast 10 dBi 4G / 5G / WiFi Omni-Directional Outdoor Fiberglass Antenna

Universal Compatibility

Proxicast's 24” easy-to-install outdoor omni antenna improves transmit & receive signals for all 4G/LTE & 5G frequencies on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Bell Mobility, Rogers, Telus, Telcel, Movistar, Digicel and others.

It is compatible with Mi-Fi Hotspots, external 4G/5G cellular modems, routers and signal amplifiers from Cisco, Cradlepoint, Digi, Inseego, MoFi, Netgear, Pepwave, and Sierra.

Wideband Coverage

Use this antenna for any radio service between 600 and 6000 MHz such as WiFi, Helium, 900 MHz, LoRa, CBRS or FirstNet.

The omni-directional design provides high gain without the alignment hassles of directional antennas.

The gloss white finish blends into any environment making it ideal for outdoor applications such as rooftops, utility poles, surveillance, remote telemetry, homes and offices.

Requires a direct coaxial wired connection to an existing modem, router, amplifier/booster. WILL NOT boost reception of cell phones – they require a powered booster/amplifier.

Note: Use our XBOOM cross-over bracket (ASIN B079WTQ4CM) to install 2 identical antennas separated by at least 22 inches for best MIMO performance.

You May Also Need

Coax Cable

Coax is Critical

The wrong cabling can wipe out antenna gain. Use only low-loss 50 Ohm coax designed for high frequency applications like our ANT-140-020 series available in multiple pre-made lengths.

Silicone Weather-sealing Tape

Water is the Enemy

If moisture gets into the cabling it can create intermittent shorts and permanent damage. Seal all outdoor connections with our ANT-900-002 Pro-Grade Coax Silicone Sealing Tape.

Lightning Arrester

Protect Yourself

Outdoor antennas should include inline lightning arresters to protect equipment and structures. Our ANT-21x-002 series gas discharge lightning arresters protect against strikes up to 10 kA.

Pro Installation Tips

For Best Results

  • Orient antenna vertically
  • Mount antenna as high as possible
  • Keep coax leads as short as possible
  • Don't use 75 Ohm coax (RG6, RG59)
  • Don't use a splitter to connect 2 modem ports to one antenna
  • Fully tighten coax connectors to antenna connectors
  • Position away from other antennas, lighting fixtures, motors, Low-E or tinted/coated windows, large metal or concrete objects
  • Stand 3+ feet away from antenna when testing
  • Maximize signal Quality (SINR, RSRQ) not signal Strength (RSSI, RSRP, bars)

Good quality components and well built. Worked better than some smaller directional antennas. After finding that I could pick up a signal I installed a large directional antenna and use this omnidirectional as a backup.

I used this antenna with a booster, mounted it vertical inside a camper, located near (front to rear center), with some marine plastic - pole holder clips on the side of a cabinet near the outside door. The radiation pattern this way is in the shape of a doughnut laying horizontal which gave our camper good signal from front to rear. It even gives signal about 15 feet outside the door, thru the wall, allowing calls around the campfire. I tried a flat panel antenna at various locations inside with very limited benefit, as you had to be parked in front of it for it to improve the reception signal. I plan to use this in my house as well, mounted near the center of the desired area. At one campground with the Bolton Long Ranger Antenna outside, we went from 0 bars/no signal to 5 bars, excellent signal.

saw a youtube video on which antenna to buy and this didn’t even work. profits had dropped after 30 days (arrived on march 1st) Asked in a facebook group as to why this may be and was told that it wasn’t even compatible with the OG Helium miner.

Came safely packaged, measurements and hookups exactly as sold, really light in weight.Easy to install, and is already helping me earn more HNT daily! The provided u-brackets fit my existing 1-1/2" diameter satellite pole mount, no problems.- I will be getting a heavier duty threaded nut as the one provided is fairly thin, but I had a heavy storm last night, and everything held together just fine.- I would recommend weather sealing the connection points BEFORE mounting the u-brackets. Trying to get the weatherproof tape in the tight space was not easy. All in all, I am pleased with the purchase and will purchase again in the future if needed. Thanks!

These are great. We use them with cloud managed cellular enabled routers in a demanding, commercial, marine construction environment. We put 2 or 8 on a vessel, depending on the router, mounted on a high railing or mast, with LMR-400 low loss cable running back to our device. They work especially well with the newer LTE-A devices that we're using now. We're getting land-based broadband speeds in most places, supporting a live-aboard crew of up to 30-40, and even getting enough usable bandwidth as far as 20+ miles offshore that we don't usually need to cut over to vsat except during transits between jobs. We have maybe 200 of these deployed, and have no complaints.

I have installed 3 of these to replace a 3db stubby antennas that were losing connection constantly due to the fact that the cell signal was not the best. Connection is tons more stable now and doesn't drop out like with previously installed antenna. The key is to install this antenna as high as possible. These have been in service for about 2 weeks now the performance is much better than the antenna I was using. If this antenna does not work in your area, you either have no cell service at all or you would need a Yagi and have to properly point it. I would buy more of these. The only thing that I would ding the product for is the threaded area where mount and antenna meet and is also the RF cable connection. The threaded area needs to be slightly longer so you can assure that antenna to mount and coax cable are both tight. As it is now the cable connection will bottom out against the lock nut.

These were marketed along with the MOFI receiver/router for AT&T tower reception.I purchased two of them as well as the recommended weather proof/sealed cables that are nicely made. The construction and weather sealing look good, the mounting hardware is also very nice and I covered the connection area with a weather proof silicone boot.I went with a 25' "recommended cable and then after speaking with a RF expert, was told that there would be attenuation on a line that long, so I came back and bought the same weather proof cables that are 3' in length.I was replacing the omni-directional paddle antennas which were working OK, but I wanted more. The Proxicast 10 dBi "high gain" antennas showed no performance improvement over the MOFI-UWB-RANGE1 antennas. Then, after I had already spent the money on these antennas, obtained the weather-proof cables, I was told that I need to also add signal amplifiers which are over $299.00 each.Lots to consider before thinking, as I did, that all you need to do is buy this antenna, cable, and add it to your MOFI router... it's a bigger investment than I was originally led to believe and the performance boost is marginal.I'm back to just the paddles.
