I like the organization that this brings to the PS five. Having a consistent secure place to leave the controllers is important in my opinion. I would agree with another reviewer that this does have a larger footprint. I would relate it to a tower PC. I am not a heavy gamer and I’m not sure if I’ve seen a bump in performance from the PS five. I do think it is important to keep the electronics cool as much as possible to extend their life. I also like that this brings the PS five off of a table and gives it a support base so it will not easily tip over. There is a set screw that it comes with to make sure that it stays in the support base. The fan is very quiet almost unnoticeable in a larger room. I would recommend this cooling station and think it is a good addition for organization and keeping the controllers and PlayStation safe in the home environment.I like the organization that this brings to the PS5. To be honest, I thought this was about to be just another white noise producing product but, surprisingly, it isn't. It's incredibly quiet! I almost didn't believe my husband when he said it was actively running, had to put my hand in front of it and actually feel the wind coming from the propellers before I would accept it to be true, lol. It was indeed on and, that was another surprising thing... Don't get me wrong, the winds won't be causing any tornadoes or anything any time soon but, it's definitely be keeping our PS5 nice and cool. Which, we have the standard digital-only PS5 model and it fit inside this stand perfectly. Unfortunately, the stand doesn't fit inside our TV stand cabinet as well as we'd hoped but, it does still fit and it still looks great so, can't really complain there. We had it hooked up to the Playstation and running in 5 minutes or less, it was so quick and easy. We honestly didn't even bother to look at the instructions, just looking at the item was pretty self-explanatory in our opinion. The controllers are charging beautifully inside their docks. The build quality of this product seems amazing. It's nice and lightweight but, I could definitely see it handling fall damage like a champ. It works the way it should. The only part we don't really like is how the headphone hook just hangs off the side of the console but, it is what it is - we don't really use headsets around here anyway. Great value for anyone with a PS5, especially if you keep it in a cabinet - these consoles have been known for their overheating issues since the beginning. Definitely worth the investment to protect your larger one.
