Rains is a great brand, and this is a great bag.It's got plenty of room for your laptop and more, and is extremely well-constructed. It looks like a bag that will last for life. (Think TUMI or COACH.) Numerous pockets provide additional storage, and it's easy to carry.Obviously you can get laptop bags for much less; it's hard to imagine that you can get a better bag, however, and this is likely to serve you well for years. Highly Recommended!

In a world where we all use nylon-based laptop bags, this stands out for its sophistication and quality. I have already had many comments about my bag, stating that I am not cool enough to be toting around such a nice accessory, which I tend to agree with.If you want a professional and quality look, this bag will do the trick. It is functional as well as attractive. Great action on zippers, nice inner lining, and of course, style.

It has a pocket inside to hold your laptop. it has plenty of storage and can hold a good bit of stuff. I have not had it in weather to check the water proofing. It does have like a plastic coating on the outside.

I never knew about this company till I saw this bag on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. The bag has a very nice dark green color and an almost rubberized texture. I am not sure what the material it looks well enough to withstand rain while walking down the street.The two front pockets are nice and I personally like the option of having two individual pockets as opposed to one wider one because I tend to keep stuffing those big pockets and can never grab what I need, when I need it.With these two pockets I can keep one dedicated for the charger and the other one for my phone, IDs ect.The zippers are extra thick and glide smoothly, I like this design choice also.Now for two things I do not like:first, the strap has no padding or adjustable pad at all! for this price segment I expected better than a bare strap that can dig into your shoulder or chest when the bag is packed. This is a major disappointment for me because with the unique color of this bag, it will be difficult to find a matching shoulder pad for the strap.Second, the back of the bag has a pocket, which is good, and usually these out-of-sight pockets in the back are great to stash a passport or travelling essentials, but this pocket is on the small strip that is used to loop the bag around a carryon handle when travelling. The issue is that in a hurry if you are not careful, say when you are at the check in line at the airport and quickly putting your documents away, it is very easy to miss the opening for the pocket and drop things into the loop thinking you are putting them in the pocket and they may not instantly drop to the floor if your bag is sitting on top of your carryon and you may think its secure only to later find things missing.In a rush or when quickly entering or exiting the subway this is possible when you are distracted. please take a look at the pictures to see what I am trying to say.In the end these two negative points may not be a big deal with any generic bag, but at this price point I expect better, that is why I took off one star, I thought about taking off two because I still think you shouldn't have to comprise at this price segment, but it is a really nice and unique bag and I really do like it.
