I dont like stone sharpeners or that stupid thing used to sharpen kitchen knives cuz im sharpening very exquisite very unique switchblade autos and butterfly knives. This kind of sharpener is definetly worth 4 bucks, i can garantee you....depending on how long you wait for shipping and all that. Mine came within a couple days but any of these sharpeners will do the trick.

Best bang for the buck for keeping knives sharp, imo. Obviously don't wait until the knives are so dull that they give the spoons a run for their money. 3-5 passes (I turn it around and do 3-5 more).Round ceramic rods means no chatter and skipping during the pull through. I have much more expensive sharpeners but I always come back to this one.

What I needed, just wish it had come a little faster and that I was able to sharpen the who blade instead of missing that one part that is cut off by the guards on the sharpener.
