Provides a convenient way to access stored rainwater, allowing you to easily fill watering cans or connect a hose for garden irrigation.Over time, spigots can become clogged with debris or develop leaks, requiring occasional maintenance.

Installed in a rain barrel and valve sheared off in my hands yesterday! Can't see why it broke so soon. Requested a refund even though I am outside of the return window. I just don't think it should have broken under routine use.

Very well made, a thick cast of plastic made for a nice spicket. There is no threads on end just saying.

I use this to make a gravity water dripper for my lapidary work, very good, good full range from off to on, (meaning I could make it just drip water) 10/10 would recommend

Very easy to install however you need either a hole saw or blade drill bits. Careful to ensure the correct diameter. Seal is good. Had it for a few moths with no leaks. My wife loves to look compared to other styles. Great value for the money

Cut the hole and very easy to install but the white o ring squeezes out and thus leaks. Hopefully there is a solution

As a Beekeeper I cook up a lot of sugar syrup to feed the bees. I wanted a way to fill quart jars from a 5 gallon bucket without spillage. The Rainpal spigot has so far worked perfectly. A steady flow rather than a heavy gush, a quick shut off without dripping. Only concern I have is the spigot lever is tight and flexes the assembly, but then again, it is in a plastic bucket. I am pleased.

Be warned, installing the bulkhead fitting for this spigot requires drilling a very large hole in your rain barrel. I ordered one of these to replace the 3/4" plastic spigot I had busted on my Fiskars rain barrel. As a replacement, this spigot had seepage around the hole despite using thread seal. Its threading didn't extend far enough into the barrel to secure it with a sealing ring from inside. The bigger downside is that in contrast to the original spigot, this spigot does not have a threaded spout; i.e., you cannot attach a hose to it. The supplied bulkhead fitting would quite likely have taken care of the leak issue, but enlarging the hole to be able to use is was not an option since I don't have a drill that large. I did find a brass spigot at Home Depot that I could secure with a sealing ring from inside the barrel, the trip for which was what I was trying to avoid in the first place.

If you are doing this as a DIY this is the item to have. Well made, installs in minutes and seals with almost no effort at all. I seldom write reviews but this product is excellent as well as attractive.I purchased a second one I was so pleased with the first. I give it the highest of recommendations!
