Awesome upgrade kit. Do not use thread locker of any kind. I had to take out screws for additional upgrades and ended up with the screw heads stripped try to take out screw with pliers and vice grips. Screw head ended up, snapping off do not use thread locker or you will be in a world of frustration.

I use these upgrade sets to spend extra quality time with my son, he likes the hobby and we get a few hours per set, and then more time driving.Ok, about the set, no issues upgrading everything lined up, make sure you have some oil for the shocks whatever viscosity you prefer and plan on some quality time with family, or some alone time decompressing from the work day or week by upgrading your RC car to aluminum parts.Please remember flexible plastic is better if you are bashing, but if doing speed runs and activities not bashing the aluminum parts look awesome on my cars and trucks.

I use these kits all the time to build RC cars, and I have yet to be disappointed with one. The parts are made well, and they give you extra screws, pins, o rings, etc. Everything fits perfectly and they look nice, too.

Its difficult to get upgrade kits such as this that includes everything you'll need to upgrade your Slash. Everything fit well and adds amazing color to your car. All these parts are extremely durable and functions so well. Easy to install everything too. Highly recommend!

The aluminum looks good but there are some machining marks on the back of the shock towers. There is plenty of screws and hinge pins. The shocks do not come with oil but are easy to fill. They send extra O-rings and shock rebuild items.The shock piston is held in with a screw instead of an e clip. The shocks do have the overflow reservoir that is functional. I would recommend using Loctite on the bottom shock mount because it does spin easily and may come off during use.The servo saver is adjustable and there is plenty of adjustment on the shock towers and there are four mounting points on the servo saver for steering adjustability.There are no instructions or pictures provided so it is a bit of work to get everything assembled correctly. Since most of the screws are going into aluminum you will need to provide your own Loctite.Overall, the parts seem to be good quality and work for both the HCG and LCG slash 2wd chassis.

TL;DR This is a complete metal upgrade kit for the Slash 2wd. this includes even all the screws and bearings.This will make a good winter project. The parts are well-machined and have a lot of adjustability.all parts are anodized aluminum, and the anodizing looks very nice.I like that they include all the screws and even some parts that you could pull off the existing chassis like the bearings and spindles are included.The shocks are upgraded over standard shocks and include two different spring rates.the kit even includes a metal servo assembly and metal wheel hex hubs.This is a nice complete kit, so you won't be serving for parts that are not included.i hope this was helpful

As to be expected, these are some very heavy built A-Arms. I have not had a chance to install yet but they appear to have a nice fit and finish to them. Will update once I get them installed
