I'm not an expert on resin; it's just a hobby. But I don't like using the oven for it because I don't like the odor. The mat can go outside so I don't have to smell it. I really can't tell if it's speeding up the process (I guess I'm not experienced enough to know the difference), but the mat does heat up.

My resin curing machine died and I couldn’t find my old curing mat so while looking for a new one I came across this Ailiaili Large Silicone Resin Heating Mat that is much more substantial and durable than my old one. It has a large surface, timers, auto shut-off, and 3 temperature settings. This heating pad is much easier to store, too, as it simply rolls up and stores in a bag. I like that the bottom has raised “feet” all over to keep the underside from getting too hot for the surface it’s used on.
