This thing lays flat and can't attach an ironing board. Don't waste your money.

My church's quilting group has an odd-size ironing board. I tried several new covers for it but all were too big. However, because of the way that this Lori Holt ironing board cover uses a drawstring instead of pre-sized elastic for fitting the cover onto the board, it was the perfect solution to this problem. All quilters love Lori Holt's fabric and products, so everyone who has seen this ironing board cover has complimented it. I highly recommend this very fine product.

Very thick and great fabric. However the cover is narrow so that when garmets or quilts are moved over the board, the edges of the cover catch and the cover pulls off. I solved the problem by sewing some velcro straps that run from edge to edge under the ironing board, but this shouldn't be necessary on a quality ironing board.
