How to Use Clutch Roller Pin Extractor Removal Tool?
·Install puller bolt and flat washer through puller plate.
·The cut outs on the puller plate face the driven clutch sheave.
·Thread the M4 set screw into the roller pin until it stops.
·Make sure the two arms of the puller plate are sitting down into the cluth fins evenly on each side.This will assure that the puller is lined up straight with the pin.
·Using two 3/4" wrenches hold the end of the puller bolt while turning the nut clockwise in towards the puller plate.This will pull the pin out.

I used and removed 2 rollers on my secondary clutch and the bolt snapped on the 3rd roller being extracted. The puller bolt is too weak of a grade. FYI I have a 2021 can am x3

Do not waste your money on this piece of crap. Didn’t even get one roller removed before the treads stripped out and now I have a piece of metal stuck in my roller that I can’t remove. Secondly the threats on the main screw are horrible and the metal is so soft it’s ridiculous.

Cheaper than others but does the same thing.Only used it too replace the secondary rollers once. Tip heat your roll pins before you try to pull them with the tool.

Save your money towards a better tool than this. Never got one pin out and the nut stripped on the 1/2 inch bolt.

It did bend slightly on the first pin. I cleaned the holes up and used a touch of WD-40 to help it come out and it was much easier.

Pin puller gadget works great. Good luck not destroying anything else trying to remove the pin. This is a must have tool for your Can-Am to keep on the shelf!
