I waited to buy this but I am glad I finally bought it. So convenient for scraps when peeling vegetables etc. it rinses out well and you don’t have to clean out the sink strainer as much. I like it and would buy it again.

I bought this because I have a septic system and no garbage disposal. You are not supposed to let things go down the drain. It works wonderful. I did hope the holes would be a little smaller, but it still works great. Has helped keep things out of the drain. Fits right in the corner of my sink and just the right size.

I use this as a lint strainer for my washing machine drain hose. It works great. I was buying the strainer mesh socks that go on the end of the washer hose but this is much easier and I can clean it out and it’s reusable not throw away like the lint socks. Good quality stainless steel construction not rusting at all. Heavy duty would also work great for its intended purpose as a sink strainer.

Das Spülbeckensieb habe ich im Februar 2021 gekauft und bin bis heute begeistert.Keine verrosteten Stellen, nichts gebrochen oder ähnliches.Deswegen wollte ich ihn nochmal kaufen, als Geschenk.ABER...2021 hat das Sieb 7,18€ gekostet...!! Jetzt kostet er 26,19€...Für den Preis würde ich ihn nie kaufen.

Bought 4/28/2022 and as of 4/14/2023 it still looks - works like new. No issues with feet coming off or bending. Still very happy.Had for a few months now. My personal experience has been great. Rubber feet have not come off, it does not around too easily and is super easy to clean using oxo brush we have when needed. I was worried it would develop small rust areas, but none so far. It also has not bent from use or had any issues whatsoever so far. Time will tell but for the price, I am happy with it and would buy it again at this point if needed down the road.

Love this little thing, fits always in the sink, doesn’t take much space but useful & practical for the daily washing of fruits, berries, tomatoes, veggies. Open a can of beans, or empty water from your pot but keep the veggies whatever from the pot. It has 3 little feet, to keep it in place. When not in use Jeep it under the sink. No bends or dents. pretty sturdy. Happy with this purchase.,

Our sink already has a drain basket to catch bits of food, but I was sick of bashing it against the side of my trash can to empty it. That never worked and I ended up having to scrape stuff out with my fingers. Ugh. This *seemed* like a good idea but I have the exact same issue. I was prepping food and scraping scraps into my new basked instead of the sink, but when it came time to clean up, I couldn't get all the food scraps out of the basket. Many bits were stuck to the sides. I was left having to scrape it clean with my hands again so I am no better off than I was before. I can't clean out the basket with water because I don't want to fill my trash bags with water obviously. So how else are you supposed to clean this thing?It's well made, it looks nice and I think it will stand up to the task, but I can't rate this because it doesn't work for me. YMMV.

Brilliant for a kitchen like ours, not modern enough to have a "half sink" built in for vegetable prep etc. This is good and big, and even better than a half sink, because you can carry the whole thing out to the compost. Which means that with reasonable care, no more time need ever be spent scraping potato peel out of a plughole :-)

I purchased this product over a year ago in anticipation of our retirement to Costa Rica. I knew we would be on a septic tank system and would not be using a garbage disposal.I love to work in the kitchen and this strainer has exceeded my expectation. I like that it's attractive stainless steel and it matches my sink. It is taller than all the other strainers I looked at. It can hold an entire fresh pineapple skin. Liquids drain easily because of the raised hard rubber feet and these feet also keep the strainer from scratching the sink. Clean up is easy.Today, I discovered another wonderful feature. I was cleaning up from lunch and washing out the strainer when I noticed what I thought was the start of rust around the edges of the rubber feet. To my surprise, the rubber feet can be easily unscrewed and removed. It wasn't rust at all, it was probably where draining liquid had become trapped between the top of the feet and the basket. The deposit was easily cleaned and the stainless steel is sparkling once again. I am very picky about the cleanliness in my kitchen and knowing I can remove the feet when necessary just makes me even more pleased with this purchase.If you are in the market to buy a sink strainer, don't hesitate to buy this one. You won't be disappointed.
