I love these as a decoration in my office! The information on the back about the different species is surprisingly accurate, too. One of the figures has a bit of a struggle standing on its own, but easily rectified with a little ticky tack. It would be cool if the came with little stands to put them on with their identifications.

I really like the figures .. should have not waited or hesitated to buy them before. They have very detailed faces and bodies, and they all stand on their own except for my Homo Erectus whose feet are not flat enough, however will squash a little plasticene under his feet to look like ground, and problem solved! Wish there were other figures ... maybe Denisovan Man or Homo floresienis or Homo luzonensis ...

Bought these little guys for my grandson who is really into dinosaurs ... has too many to count. Now he's into creating scenes so he needed some people. What better than cavemen ? These actually look better than the picture online and are nicely painted. Come on a single sealed card. Came on time with part of another order. Would buy from this vendor again.

My son is obsessed with cavemen and this is the only set I could find. They are great! He can play with them with his prehistoric mammals and dinosaurs. He loves them!!!!

Beautiful. If only this sort of stuff was about when I was a kid. I first saw this set in a shop whilst on holiday some time back. Dithered about buying it, didn't, and, as often happens, didn't return to where the shop was. Got it now, though. It's very good indeed. A great educational toy, in the best sense of the word. I'm not opening this, though, the packaging is too nice. Might have to buy another...

This is a super cool kit for anthropologists young or old. For kids, these are a great way to start the discussion about the evolution of hominids. each figure is unique and has distinguishing details. They aren't just the same figure painted different ways or anything like that. My only complaint is that Homo Sapien is clearly a Proto-European. An African might have been more accurate. If you are getting them for little kids, they do have some pieces that a little one might want to chew on. So far, mine have held up fine.

The kids were fascinated with this series immediately. Our one complaint is that something broke off 3 of them within 24 hours - they're not for rough play, and they really wanted to interact with them. I showed all 3 kids some youtube video clips about each hominid, and how they might have lived. My five year old liked holding each one as its video came up. It is REALLY nice to see a kids' toy about human evolution. It's a rare treat!

I love 'em. smaller than papo prehistorical man. a little bigger than half the size of gi joe. the hands are separate and glued around the walking sticks. Hands may come off as mine did. have to re-glue. they should add a monkey. I bought for the Australopithecus. very detailed early men and fun to have in my dinosaur collection.
