I took my 3 year old, who was at the lower end of the weight limit for this product, to visit five European countries in the Spring. I did not want to haul around a heavy car seat for the limited time we would spend in cabs and such. This worked great! My daughter wore this travel vest across Europe, and it easily stowed in a backpack when not in use. She was secure in the vehicle during transport and even fell asleep on some particularly long rides. This worked great for us and I am so happy to have found an alternative to bulky boosters.

IF YOU HAVE A CHILD YOU NEED THIS! This is so easy to bring with you. If you own a car seat you know what it is like traveling with it. THIS IS THE ANSWER! SECURITY AND CONVENIENCE! We used this temporarily for our oldest when our third was born and we were still in a Honda civic coupe. We could not fit another car seat or booster for her. This worked well. I highly recommend it. I feel safer with her in this then a booster because the harness keeps the seat belt in the correct positions on her body at all times. Ride safer was great about communicating with me and answering all my questions as well

This works exactly as expected. My only minor issue was I had a hard time finding the instruction manual because it is tucked in a pocket of the vest. I was pleased to find the manual was actually in a hardier type of plastic/paper that is rather rugged. We have used the seat both ways with a shoulder strap and harnessed in with lap belt and both ways we are very happy and my children all readily wear it without complaint. I have a small 35 lb five year old and a small 50lb eight year old and the vest fits both children well.

I ordered this at the last minute for my granddaughter's birthday. It was delivered on Monday in plenty of time for her birthday on Friday.It also makes it easier to strap her into our car with out all the hassle of a transferring her car seat and she is safe too

I bought for my 3 1/2 year old. She weighs about 42 pounds and is short for her age, but it fits perfect. We use this daily in the car and she loves it. She has learned how to put on the vest, but of course I strap her in myself. It was a hassle at first, but I learned how to get her in and out quickly. She loves that she is a big girl and can sit with her brother and sister. She doesn't mind not be able to out the window since she sits in the middle. I wouldn't recommend this product being used by the door since it is less protection for them. Overall it is a good, durable product and I am satisfied with this product.

The vest is very convenient and it is perfect for traveling. I was able to fit it right into my carry on luggage without a problem and feel assured that she was securely riding in the shuttle on the way to the airport and in the rental car without having to lug a car seat around. I would say however, that even though the requirements are 30 lbs and 3 years old, my child seems to be still a little too small for it (32 lbs, 3 years old) because even when adjusted down it seems like the shoulder belt is still a little too close to her neck. I did notice also that it worked better in one of our cars than the other, and the difference seemed to be the quality of the seat belts in the car itself. The car with the thicker, more stiff seat belts seemed to offer more stability across the lap, and the thinner seat belts in the other car bunched up and sometimes even ended up all underneath one side of the hooks for the lap restraint. My daughter loves wearing it and it is very easy to put on, but I think I will wait to use it again until she is a little bit bigger.
