Works great with my grandmother’s antique brass lamp. I chose 8” glass globe with 4” fitter. The color is cream and it lights up nicely. Perfect! Very happy!!

I have an older fan that came with the house. I searched Lowes, Walmart and Home Depot trying to find the correct size to cover the light bulbs in that fan. was an unusual size. I was so happy to find this one, and that it fit perfectly. So glad that the size choice was perfect.

The fitter was the correct size but the flare was very uneven -- one side was completely flat, while the other side was flared over much further than usual. I was able to get it to stay in my light but I expect to come home to it having fallen out and shattered on the floor someday soon.

I upgraded the bulb on my fan from a Philips Hue 800 lumen to a Cree 1600 lumen bulb, unfortunately, because of the size of the bulb, the old housing no longer fit. Ordered this, and installed it, no complaints. The color is neutral white, so I can set the color to whatever I want, without the light interfering with the color of the bulbs.

I own rental properties with ceiling fans. These globes are reasonably durable, but made out of glass rather than plastic so they don't discolor. Plastic ones are more durable, but they look disgusting within a year. When a tenant leaves, we removed the globe and clean it, and it makes it appear as a brand-new light. They are breakable, so we keep a couple on standby, but ultimately the cost comes out of the security deposit.

I used this glass globe to replace a much nicer one that I broke while changing the bulb. This globe is larger than the original, but had the same 4inch fitter as the original. The price was good and the quality is good. It's just not as upscale as the original that I broke. But it works and it's a good value. I've tried to find one as nice as the original that I broke, but I've had no luck.And Amazon delivered it to my front door.
