Was a very loose fit on a 1996 SeaDoo SPX. I wrapped a zip (cable) tie around it so it would fit tighter on the post.

I have a fleet of Seadoos and I have a Candoo Seadoo programmer, and I'm always programming keys for friends and customers. This is a good quality DESS key for the money, beats paying double for an official BRP Seadoo one.I've bought about 8 of these and haven't had any issues. YES these need to be programmed, either by a dealer or someone with the programmer device. If your seadoo is 96+ it has DESS and youll need programming unless DESS has been deactivated.If its been deactivated or you have an older seadoo then you dont need this key, you can buy the much cheaper non-DESS key.

I only bought this for the lanyard. I transferred my DESS key from the old OEM Sea-Doo lanyard to this one, and I will say it holds up very nice! Good quality product. I will say that the key that came with this seems really tight on my DESS post, but that doesn't matter to me. I definitely recommend this to anybody that has a worn-out OEM lanyard that wants an upgrade.
