Works for wheel hub, missing parts for other functions, non-existent instructionsIf you need this to remove a wheel hub, this thing has you covered. If you need this in order to use the jaws/arms, you're mostly SOL. There should be 2 pieces that come with this that work to incrementally tighten the jaws and hold them onto the exterior of something (a knurled piece that has a taper on the end that contacts the top of the jaws) and a piece with a taper on the end that spreads the arms when you're trying to grip something from the inside. This doesn't have either of those. As for build quality, frankly, it's not that great. Especially when it comes to the threads. Some of the threads are buggered up. I was still able to tighten it with enough force, but it wasn't great. It almost seemed as if there was spatter from welding or something on some of them but I suppose something could've went wrong with the machining too.And next, let's come to the instructions, which are hilariously bad. I really like how on the first page it says "Read carefully before use" and then proceeds to not have a single word on any of the other pages (besides a list of what's in the package). I really had a hard time with this because it's made differently than other slide hammers I've used in what I can only guess is an attempt to save money by cheaping out on critical parts. You never do find out where the large "locking nut" (#4 on the packing list page) goes and I have no idea.I even had the idea of going to the listing and seeing if I could find any instructions there. And guess what!? NO. And even worse than that, it uses pictures of a completely different slide hammer in the listing photos (some of which have the missing parts that this needs hilariously) and the entire listing (photos and words) has zero additional instructions.Furthermore, it says this:"INTERNAL & EXTERNAL JAWS: Includes 2-jaw and 3-jaw pullers for internal and external work to provide a variety of combinations to pull bearing, gears, and seals. 2 and 3-way cross blocks and cone-type puller provide the perfect jaw configuration for most jobs."and guess what? It absolutely does not include a 2 jaw puller. And while it does have a 3 jaw puller, it does not include all the parts necessary for it to work properly. The only reason I've not given this a one star review is that it will actually work to remove wheel hubs and if that's what you need it for, it should function. That being said: while it does look like a slide hammer, given that it doesn't do most of the things it's supposed to do, I'd call it a bad deal. I'd spend a few more bucks and get a slide hammer that does what it's supposed, includes the parts it's supposed to, and doesn't seem like a product that someone haphazardly threw together before importing it and selling it on amazon.

Everything looks exactly the same as it does in the listing photos, including the foam tray in which the kit is shipped. Since there is no proper container and there are several small parts, one might as well keep the box as it is, until something better can be scrounged. The quality and fit seem comparable to those of retail store equivalents, but priced much lower. For a DIYer, these tools should last a lifetime.
