Okay, some of the reviews say this is a thin piece of plastic.. it is. However it comes with a Styrofoam bottom that makes it stable. While we are using it for a dog/boot shower, it is great for the price.

Changed out our tub unit due to the step out of the tub and love the quality of the shower base. Nice sturdy base, easy to install.

I sold shower bases where I used to work I thought they were cheap and thin wow I was wrong hopefully it holds up but I doubt it it is way got expensive for what you get

I wouldn't say that this is sturdy. It's thin plastic with a styrofoam slice glued to the bottom. I'm talking light expanded polystyrene, not even the dense type. I expect it to dent easily; from dropped items, bathing chairs or just heavy-heeled humans. I don't see the value, especially looking at the materials used.

I wish it came with its own drain assembly. Unfortunately it does not I had to go order a special one for it. So heads up guys make sure you have the drain assembly before you purchase this product. Shower tub is amazing though

The shower pan came in a well packaged box. No complaints there.The underside has a thick tapered closed-cell foam glued to it from 3/4" to 1.5". This allows the pan to lay completely flat on your floor and helps to deaden sound. This is important seeing as it's only plastic, and most RV showers have a lot of flex in their pans. This one does not. It's nice and solid!The shower pan surface is somewhat slick feeling when dry, but has a nice texture. That isn't to say it's slippery, it just means it doesn't feel "chalky" like some shower pans do. The product over all feels and looks pretty solid and is well worth the price.
