They're beautiful and well-built. I used one today to clean some debris from the olive oil in my deep fryer. Works great. Great flow through the mesh; I didn't have to stop pouring, I just needed to pour steady and reasonably. The mesh caught everything I could see with the naked eye. I'm very satisfied with these.

I got the 2 size set. They are simple stamped stainless steel. It feels thin, yet adequate enough for the job. It's not like you are straining heavy weight materials from the pot.The BONUS, however, is that the 2 strainers have different mesh sizes. The smaller one has a very slightly larger mesh than the larger one. Very interesting, and since it's not advertised that way, I am wondering if it's just happenstance that I got the 2 different sizes. But it is an unexpected bonus and certainly one will be able to fit whatever straining task is needed.
