Has begun being very flaky and won’t turn on or off with the switch. It is at the point of being a safety hazard as the unit cannot be shut down in an emergency or maintenance situation No product support available. DO NOT BUY

Installed this combo unit in mid October 2024 and it's been performing well since. I have it's 230V big brother PowMr unit as well and has been going for about 9 months with no issues that weren't my own fault. The instructions were clear enough to set it up properly.The value of these type of units comes from the headline advertised specs: fast battery charging, high voltage solar input, and the inverter controls to handle the mix and deliver the 3600W. The most I have pushed out of this unit is about 2900W, when I made coffee at the same time the internal heater of the dishwasher was on. It seemed unbothered by this, but I typically try to treat it with respect and stay below 2000W. It's impossible to beat these combination units with a separate set-up like the one I had before this. Most standalone charge controllers cannot accept more than 100-150V from your solar input, which really limits your potential (bu-dum, tsss) and requires parallel panel wiring which sends higher current leading to the need to use larger diameter wire which is yet another added cost.Overall, I paid less for this unit (~$400 vs. ~$500) than the separate system I used before it, while this unit is twice as capable and allows smaller wiring thanks to its 500V input capacity. Perhaps the power is not as clean as the standalone 4000W inverter in my separate system, but it is clean enough to power my computers and other sensitive electronics so far without issue. Calling it a jack of all trades is fair, but it is also the master of several of them. I'm hoping it can last long enough to surprise me even more than it has!

Watched videos and proceeded to connect batteries only to get a fault code of 09, Internal failure return to factory)

I liked the features and it had excellent power capabilities but the cooling fans stopped working after 3 days and it had an overtemp alarm even with a small load.
