First The Positive & Good-They do look AMAZINGLY GOOD installed on/into my truck! Beautiful during the day time & the LED's look AMAZINGLY GOOD at night time! The LED's are very bright at night especially when u hit the brake, use ur turn signals, & the reverse lights/bulbs I installed in them look like headlights they are so freakin bright thru these clear lenses (I bought & installed a set/pair of the iBrightstar Xenon White 6000K 3157 LED Reverse light bulbs to go along/install with these new LED tail light lenses) that I have absolutely no problems backing up at night now!! No more rolling down my very darkly tinted windows to back up now like I used to have to do before! If ur looking for a set of RIDICULOUSLY BRIGHT Reverse light bulbs to go with these lenses (or any lenses really) then search Amazon for the iBrightstar LED bulbs!The Negative & Bad-The installation is no where near as straight forward as it's claimed to be in the item description! So beware if u don't know what ur doing or don't know anything about doing stuff like this! Either have a buddy that does know what they're doing help u or just pay a professional to do it for u because u can get urself into a lot of trouble not knowing what ur doing on seemingly simple things like this (not bragging but I know/am good with mechanical & wiring stuff & I went to college for & got my bachelor's degree in automotive mechanics before switching to HVAC work several years later)!! Anyway, 1st off DO NOT use the adhesive tape on the back of the built-in resistor to mount it! Those resistors get very very hot when running (so whenever your lights are on, ur using ur turn signals, ur brakes, they are running & getting very very hot!) & it won't take long for them to melt that adhesive tape into mush & just fall off!! They need to be attached to a METAL SURFACE (see my attached pics) away from any other plastic or wires (cause they WILL melt right through any plastic or the insulation of any wires that are touching them) with screws, not adhesive tape (u can get self tapping screws at any hardware store that require no pre-drilling to install)! 2nd, make sure the black wires (which are always ur ground wires on any vehicle) on ur vehicle's factory bulb sockets (where u would usually plug a regular bulb into) match up to the black/ground wires on the new taillight lenses adapter plugs (see attached pics)! Because if not they won't work & u could pop a fuse also! NONE of the other wires matter/have to match up, just the black wires!! Thirdly & most annoyingly, the factory vehicle plugs DO NOT match up with the new LED lenses like they are supposed to!! They are supposed to just plug in then be rotated clockwise & lock into place with a little tab to a plastic locking post on the taillight lenses but the holes on these new LED lenses don't match up properly with the vehicle's factory wiring sockets so they DO NOT lock into place & u have to twist the vehicle's factory plugs almost all the way around the opposite/wrong way to get them to plug in at all (see attached pics)!! They do tighten down once u finally get them in (u can feel them tighten down) but THEY ARE NOT LOCKED INTO PLACE like they're supposed to be & u have to stretch the vehicle's factory wiring harness as far as it will go to get them into the new lenses!! Then the very top socket hole/plug spot on the new LED lenses has to be made bigger/modified so that the factory socket plug will even go into it at all (see attached pics), it WILL NOT FIT OTHERWISE!! U have to use a pair of wire cutters (or something similar) to make the one spot bigger (again see pics), otherwise the factory plug WILL NOT GO INTO THE VERY TOP SOCKET HOLE, RIDICULOUS!! Lastly, theses lenses WILL NOT work with ur vehicle's factory installation screws!! When ur all done with all of the other mess then go to put them into place & try to secure them there with ur factory screws/hardware, THEY DO NOT WORK!! The vehicle's factory screws are to small for the little brass screw clips that come on the new LED lenses, the factory screws just spin around then fall right out & will not tighten up!! So since they DO NOT provide any new screws along with these new LED lenses u either have to go to the hardware store & try to find some that will work/fit them or do what I did & take the factory metal screw clips off of my/ur factory taillight lenses & replace/install them onto the new LED lenses (see attached pics) to make them work with the factory screws so u can install them into place & tighten them up so they don't just fall out while ur driving down the road!! I think that all of this is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS considering that these brand new LED lenses are supposed to be specifically made to fit my/ur vehicle!! I/U SHOULD NOT BE HAVING TO DO ANYTHING LIKE stretching the factory wiring harness to it's limits, plugging the factory plugs in completely the wrong way around so they don't lock into place, having to cut holes bigger in a brand new part just to make the factory plug fit, having to either go to the hardware store to try to find screws to install them or swap out the screw clips that came on them for ur factory screw clips when these lenses are supposed to be simple "plug & play" as the item description says!!!! So buyers just beware, these brand new simple, "plug & play" LED lenses ARE NOT as simple as they're advertised to be on Amazon by these sellers!! I do ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way they look & work but I shouldn't have had to do all of the "modifications" I had to do to get them installed into/onto my truck that I had to do being that they are a brand new part & supposedly made specifically to fit my truck!!!! Hope this helps someone else out there, thank's👋✌

Could not get the product to fit properly. Otherwise an attractive option.... But not with fairly large gaps...

Lights were well packaged. No instructions but not hard to figure out, other than I had a small plug that I did not use, but everything worked without it and there was nothing to plug it in to. Only took 10 minutes to replace both sides. These are definitely brighter than stock, and look cleaner. Fit was good on 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD.

No side lite other than that okay

Just purchased my 2005 Chevy Silverado LS Crew Cab 4x4 from the original owner. The truck is in fantastic shape except for the tail lights. Slightly yellowed faded and cracked. I ordered these lights the very same day I bought the truck. They came 2 days later and I couldn't wait to throw them on. As you can see in the photos I had a professional installer help me. I have quite a bit of experience with wiring and electrical (by no means am I certified) so I didn't even bother with the instructions. (don't try this at home... lol) Overall the installation took 20 minutes. The fit and finish is flawless and is an immediate improvement over the stock tail light housings. My truck looks like a truck 5+ years newer from the back! Highly recommend this product!

Looks nice, fit is okay, tested after installation and everything worked great....finally drove my truck for the first time and passenger side no longer works. Too late for a return!

Super cool , fit really well on my 2004 Z71 1500 short bed. They install in minutes, look great and all. I bought them in May 2017 and the driver side rear Led light just went out on September 11, 2021 so they lasted me 4 years and 3 months ish . I was hoping those would be the only set I would ever need for this truck, seeing how Led’s are supposed to last longer and all, But its the electronics that make them functional that we need to worry about. Smells like burnt electronic ions inside of the light fixture. Will now need to order another set…..

I love these lights! They look fantastic and were very easy to install into my 2005 Silverado 1500. They come well packaged and include some basic instructions. One important thing the instructions point out is to ensure you orient your electrical plugs so that each ground wire on the light connects to the ground side of the plug (from the truck). It warns that not doing this properly can result in the blown fuse. However, I did have my wiring reversed initially, though no fuse was blown in the short time I was testing it.These look great and operate properly. The one thing that had me confused at first was wiring the blinker. The light has two plugs for the blinker, but you only use ONE of them depending on your wiring configuration. For me it was the larger plug (not the single wire one). The side marker light is not used, so I just left that dangle inside. These fit just like the OEM lights. The stock screws work just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more in the future.

These tail lights changed my whole look! Truck looks awesome now. Super easy to install. Only minor problem was the smallest socket. It didn't seem to fit quite right but with a minor adjustment everything's good to go. Definitely recommend!UPDATE:: it’s been 4 years since I bought these! They’re still going strong. Not a single LED has gone out. No hyper flash. No moisture. Spec-D, y’all did a fantastic job on these tail lights. Still look just as good from when I first got them out of the box. Thumbs up all day long.UPDATE AGAIN:: wow, It’s officially been 9 years now! I still have the same truck with these tail lights! Still, everything works fine. Im talking no moisture in housing, blinkers still blink normally, not a single LED out, nothing wrong. Spec-D y'all really outdid yourself on these. 💪 11/10
