I had previously installed a DKMOTORK on a bike with no problems—everything worked.Bought this one as it looked identical but half the cost. After install the tachometer didnt work as well as half the backlights. They immediately sent a replacement and it had the same identical problem.Was it my wiring job? No.Bought a DKMOTORK and plugged it into the same plug and everything worked—-lights, tach, gauges.The instructions sent with this item are much more difficult. In order to program this one you have to hold the back button, turn on the power, hold button for 5 seconds, then enter 123 as a password, THEN program the unit.DKMOTORK takes you straight into the programming without the password screen (although they both admittedly have instructions written by someone whose third language is english).Anyway dont be cheap like me. Avoid this unit.
