Std motor products are solid. I've been using them for decades. I had a confirmed bad sensor I replaced it with this and my issue was solved. Never had a bad part from them unlike some cheaper nameless brands on Amazon.

I replaced the vacuum elbow from Amazon (Dorman 47408 1/8 X 5/32 In.) along with the sensor. This one made the biggest difference in how responsive the throttle was. I like Dorman products and have been a good goto for my Jeep.Perfect fit and easy to install. There are cheaper ones out there but Dorman seems to be a good OEM replacement.

Doesn't seem like a bad part just has wrong pin out for my connector…

I’m always skeptical when ordering electronic parts and sensors online, but this was a great choice and worked as advertised at a reasonable cost

2000 Dakota installed ok with no change so I'm thinking it's another sensor

I've been having problems with my Jeep Grand Cherokee stalling as it warms up on a cold day. Replacng the throttle position sensor helped but the engine would still cut out. I replaced the MAP sensor but the temperatures haven't dropped to the 30's around here yet. At least my Jeep runs the same after installing this part so I know it's good.

Totally solved my issue which I thank metro mile for having the cool ability to send trouble codes to email and the app. IF you are using this on a 2001 Dakota be warned you will need a 90 degree angle ratcheting screw driver or a bit driver for a socket wrench. you will also need a t25 tork bit and a longer flat head screw driver. there are 2 t25 tork screws holding this to the corroborator and then there is a small hose the fits into the bottom you can use the flat head screw driver to gently work off the tube and then push it back in once you have the new sensor mounted.
