The bottom plate won’t stay securely attached to the pole. According to the instructions, all pole sections appear to be identical. I even tried rearranging them with no success. It seems the issue is with the threading on the bottom plate. It's likely too wide, as it keeps spinning without tightening fully. The weight of the plate seems fine, but it's not really usable without the pole attaching.

Don't waste your money on this. The handle attaches to a threaded insert in the base. The insert is riveted to the base using cheap alloy rivets that broke in less than an hour of use resulting in the threaded insert coming out with no way of attaching the handle. Terrible design, don't buy.

Sturdy and heavy enough to get the job done, but once the tube in it will stay in there because of the impact
