Bought this for my 4 year old. He loves it. He is able to push it up and down easily. Doesn't pinch his fingers. Just right for covering him so he doesn't get wet.

Both of my sons are in kindergarten and first grade and these umbrellas have been perfect. Easy to open and easy to close, which was the most important part. No button to press and easy to open and close. Overall the design has been a hit, especially the pirate one. Would recommend over and over again.

Bought this for my 4 year old because he was having a hard time holding our big adult umbrellas in the rain. He loves it! The umbrella is really easy to open and close with little hands. We haven't had it log enough to tell whether it will stand the test of time, but I'm very happy so farUpdate: We've used this umbrella through an extra rainy summer & it has held up well. Still going strong & shows no wear so far even through hard rains.
