I read a lot of the other reviews and was worried that my magnets would show up broken, severely dented, etc. Three of the 20 magnets were slightly dented, so as one reviewer noted, they could be seconds, but I'm not using these for display so a small dent (a picture of the worst one is attached) on 1.5% of them is worth the discounted price.It seemed like many of the complaints were due to poor packaging by the manufacturer or shipping by Amazon. Perhaps they've taken the feedback and made adjustments. My magnets were encased in styrofoam and then in a thin box by the manufacturer and Amazon shipped them in a box (not an envelope) although that could have been that I ordered several items along with the magnets.I can't say that they are in fact N52 strength, but I did have a paint stir stick made of wood (1/8" thick) handy and the magnet held it securely to my file cabinet.

Great buy here...I put some on my tool box.. glued a few to my dashboard. A few on my fridge.. endless uses 😂 have fun ..

They work well, but they are not as strong as other ones I have had at this size. Wasted purchase for my application.

If you’re like me then you’ve been ripped off or disappointed from buying “super strong neodymium” or “n52” magnets that weren’t very strong and/or were very cheap. I can say these magnets are legit! They’re very strong and seem to be high quality. I don’t know what grade they are and all my certified n52 aren’t close to this size so it’s kinda hard to compare but I can say they’ve gotta be at least n45 if not n48 and possibly n52 - although I think the price would higher if they were. Definitely worth the price!

Not as strong as smaller magnets I have. Wanted to use it on an oil filter, but I’ll get a thicker one next oil change. Good for fridge magnets.

These are some strong magnets so be careful not to pinch your fingers when you working with them. They will even hop up off the table to another you're holding at a surprising distance. They're priced reasonably and arrived in perfect condition due to the great packaging. The only thing I can maybe ding these on is their strength being claimed as N52. I have some of the same size and shape that are noticeably stronger than these. I purchased those a month or so ago on Amazon. The rating system used stands for Neodymium followed by a number to indicate the strength of the magnet. Higher the number the stronger they get. N52 grade neodymium magnets are the strongest magnetis commercially available at this time. I still gave these 5 stars because being rated N52 just means they have a certain strength in a particular range. Some N52 magnets may be stronger or weaker than others even coming from the same N52 batch produced. These may be weaker than some of the others I recently purchased. Is it because these are weak, or is it because I got a really good batch on that one order before? I do not know. without some costly equipment to measure them. The size, thickness, and shape all play into factoring in their lifting strength. Just do not expect these to lift a 50-pound dumbbell off the floor at this size of magnets. So are these magnets rated N52 accurate? I think so. Anyway, these are strong enough to do any task you would want these for as long as you are not asking the impossible. I have read a lot of reviews on Amazon that give magnets bad ratings due to them expecting the impossible from any magnet. If you need even stronger for your project, then double or triple them to increase their magnetic strength. Remember size matters with magnets. For these magnets at this price and strength, I would not have any problems recommending them to anyone. I know I would purchase these again if I need these size/shape magnets in the future.
