MET's customer service has been trying to help me get the server up and running for the past few weeks. They even offered to remote disgnose/configure the servers using some fancy BIOS network. Currently, we don't know why it worked there(when they shipped) but doesn't work here(on my rack). It being a server several years old, I guess I'm okay with them not working like a new server with all the features enabled.I'm not sure if I misread the product description when I bought it or if it changed after my purchase. My order of this server came with a RAID controller with 1Gb cache that currently do not appear in the description. If any disks worked, I'd rate 5 stars, but right now it either 1) cant see the adaptec card, 2) sees the card but detect none of the drives, 3.) onboard SATA somehow heats up SSD’s to high temperature without detection, or 4.) detects drives but CentOS can't see it. And for some reason the onboard SATA plugs do not work.… after a few monthsI’ve increased the stars to 4. These guys are handling return/replace promptly and are very customer friendly. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a nice server cheap! And the product they sell also change price on Amazon (lower mostly), so look often!
