Here’s a personal review you can copy and paste:I’m really happy with this Sur La Table Kitchen Essentials cookware set! The stainless steel pots and pans look beautiful with their mirror polish and feel sturdy and well-made. I love that they work on any stovetop, including induction, and they heat evenly thanks to the aluminum base — no more hot spots! The non-reactive interior is great, especially when I’m making tomato-based sauces, and everything tastes fresh without any weird metallic flavor. The handles stay cool while cooking, which is a nice safety touch. I’ve used them in the oven a few times too, and they handle the heat well. While they’re dishwasher safe, I prefer to hand wash them to keep them looking shiny. Overall, this set has been a great addition to my kitchen and makes cooking at home feel even more enjoyable!Just really watch the care instructions. These are beautiful and easy to burn if you don't read

Purchased these for use with my new induction range. The pots are great but it’s been an adjustment using the new pots and the induction range. Overall the weight of the pans is very nice, they’re not cheaply made. Had to read up on how to clean burnt on food and after following instructions, the frypan came clean.

So loving this stainless cook set. We have been wanting to replace our previous set of cookware, because it’s been a few years since we had a new set, and the old set was worse for wear, (which I guess it’s a good thing because they were very “loved”.) Since I like to try new brands every so often, I was intrigued to try this brand. So far I am very pleased. This set appeals to me because it comes with a saute pan, something my old set never had, but something we have been finding we have been needing. It comes with a very nice sized saute pan which can do three functions (at least for us) as a deep fry pan, a shallow pot, or saute pan, so very happy about having one of these because it opens up our world a little bit more, doing triple duty, so it is actually my most used piece. The pot and pan handles have a “y” shaped handle which helps keep handles cooler. (All except the Dutch Oven pot of course, because those handles are like a typical Dutch Oven “U” shape by design, which you need that shape to handle and better support the weight safely the larger quantities of food which you may need to drain, etc, ) The Dutch Oven pot is perfect for my chili and soup recipes. (I like making a lot at once, so this size is super practical for my larger “one pot” family meals.)All the pots and pans are easy to cook with, lighter, but yet more sturdy than my previous cookware. The pots and pans are slightly deeper than my previous set, and much better for recipes with lots of stirring, as the sides prevent spilling better than my previous set.The lids fit nicely on their corresponding pots. (As an FYI, 2 do not have pan lids.) The lids have steam holes, which is very handy when boiling different foods.I have a gas stove, and these pans help distribute heat, cooking everything evenly. I cooked pub burgers the other day, which always seem to take forever to cook, and they cooked much more quickly, thoroughly, and evenly than with my old set. With my old set I had to constantly flip, stir, etc to make sure things would cook evenly, and even move the pot periodically to distribute heat better, but not the case with these! I used different burners with different BTU’s and the results were the same, all the heat is across the board even. The stainless steel is high quality, and happy there are no toxic nonstick coatings with this set. They do need a little TLC after cooking certain foods, but good pots and pans always do, so I am okay with that. I use an eco-friendly soap on these, and it works well, so happy with these! The manufacturer recommends that these are hand wash only, but I hand wash all my pots and pans anyways. (I am the dishwasher in our house, LOL!)A good set of pots and pans are an investment, so I am happy we got these, and they are totally worth it, because the food just seems to cook more efficiently and taste better than they did before. I would definitely consider getting more pieces from this brand due to the quality we have been enjoying, after getting this set! Love that this set makes me feel like a 5 star chef these days.

This is a great set if you want to introduce yourself to cooking with stainless steel without committing to an overly expensive professional set of cookware. If you’re new to stainless steel cooking then I highly recommend watching a few videos to learn how to use because there’s definitely a science to the process. Sur la Table is a high quality brand but I wish the instructions with this set explained the use and cleaning better which is why you should watch videos.I love the set but there are still some things I would cook with my cast iron or ceramic pan. The heat distribution is great and the flavor of food is perfect. They are easy to clean by hand but if you do burn something that is difficult to remove then use Bar Keepers Friend rather than the salt rub recommended in the instructions. I tried the salt process which worked slightly but the Bar Keepers Friend really worked best.I cooked a batch of sugar coated pecans which is a sticky sugar water boiled and the cooking and cleaning was a breeze.

Looks great so far not too heavy but not too light even with the little pan and pot, will update after using it for awhile

We are removing all of our teflon pans because it's just not good to cook on them knowing what we know with chemically coated pans..etc. Especially if they are chipped/scratched.I didn't want to dive into $1k+ s/s pans yet only because that's a big jump when you are used to non stick pans...I will say comparing this with a current s/s Viking pan, these ARE considerably lighter/thinner. So they do not retain heat nearly as well. But again, you are getting an entire set for half of what one pan would normally cost...Some of the lids seem to have rough edges and not nearly as rounded as they should be...I think this is a good STARTER s/s set to realize you either like s/s or you want something else like cast iron before dropping a large amount of money for pots/pans.
