I was a little concerned about purchasing with the so/so reviews. A calibration needs to happen after installation. Hold the "set" button. The tachometer will automatically recognize the engine's cylinder number. I am very pleased with the easy installation and look. The needle is illuminated, not entire face which I prefer. Nice addition to the car.
