By connecting the strut towers, and creating a balance, the shocks are prevented from independently moving and causing small changes in suspension geometry.

The brace and support brackets are of excellent quality and really look nice... I would give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, my 94 Miata is fitted with ABS brakes and the passenger side bracket will not work because it comes in contact with the ABS unit. If I rotate the brackets the other direction the strut bar will be directly over the oil fill hole so that's not ideal either. I'm going to contact the manufacturer and see if there's an alternative bracket for the passenger side that will work with ABS. otherwise looks and feels like a quality product.

Great Strut Bar installed in my 1997 Miata strong and high quality look awesome the only thing is that you should remove the windshield water deposit my 97 Miata has the big square water deposit also I have installed a conic air filter I believe that the original air filter setup could interfere but I'm not sure about it. Make a nice difference it feels more firm and rigid.
