I've used 1/8" hard plastic wedges for tile setting for years but I also lost quite a few over time. My local big box supply houses only sold soft silicone wedges so I kept looking and I finally found these. They were pricey compared to other tile spacers but are a lot more versatile.

Setting tile requires wedges. Tavy makes some good ones.

I met the owner a few years back while at a hospital. We were both having an unrelated surgery that day. He explained to me that the wedges I was using were inferior to his wedges. He said “Once you try mine, you will never use any others”. I tried them, and he was correct. I will never try any other wedges.They are a good size, easy to grab, and made of a sturdy but pliable material. I will be using these wedges on all of my tiling jobs.
