I don't see a thing wrong with this scale. I buy bulks of ground beef and this is absolutely perfect for that. Simple to use.

Bought one at my local Publix. This scale served me well for a long time, but one day it somehow became wildly miscalibrated and the needle popped off. Was unable to take the scale apart to fix it so I had to throw it out. This is a decent scale for approximate kitchen measurements, but perhaps not the most accurate or durable.

I use the scale to weigh kittens. Large basket helps and it seem to weigh accurately.

This scale is always 100g off, the zero is not set correctly. It's not reliable for baking.

I bought one of these at my local grocery store. I could not zero the scale, the scale itself was leaned forward, which probabbly messed up the internal mechanism. I decided to try to use it with the current position as 0 (600g). I placed 100g(about 3.5oz) of coins in it and the needle didn't move at all. Going to return it and try something else

Save your money. The relatively large capacity is deceptive--with the higher capacity, you might expect (and need) something durable. Not so with this. It's cheap, shoddy, flimsy. If there's an upside, it's that this piece of junk will not live with you long.
