  • Al Capone is back!

The Thompson was invented by Brig. Gen. Thompson, but WWI ended before the general could get it into production. Thompson marketed the gun to civilians, and Al Scarface Capone was only too happy to use it. If you've got competition on the airsoft field, this Tommy gun will clear them out. This realistic replica comes with everything but a violin case. Thompson M1A1 sub-machine gun replica Auto-electric gun (AEG) Full-/semi-auto 450-rd drum mag full-metal body wood-grain plastic butt-stock and grips look very realistic metal gearbox reinforced steel gears metal bushings. Rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation. Vertical fore-grip for better balance 1.3 joules of energy 465 fps with .12g BBs, 350 fps with .20g BBs BAX system for better BB stabilization Includes 8.4v 1100 mah Ni-MH battery pack, 250 mah charger (4.4 hrs charge time). Rotate the key only in the direction of the arrow. Do not rotate the key in the opposite direction or you will break the magazine. The battery compartment in the rifle's butt includes a dark grey foam insert. Remove it with a corkscrew or long wooden screw if you'd like to use a larger battery such as sderbat6-mini.

If you're buying this to play actual airsoft please don't waste your money. The gun jams more than a real 1911 with hollow points. It's actually unusable after one match... It looks good in pictures but that's the only function it will ever serve again. The hop up does not adjust, the magazine does not stay locked in place and it ate up 2 fully charged batteries in one 20 minute match. Stick with tried and true manufacturers of AEG's and you'll be fine. I only bought this because my son wanted to try it, and it was a spectacular waste of time!!!!!

I got the package and it's exactly what they said it was but I noticed it was opened where the drum is located well after reading the paperwork they say don't use the plastic BB that come with it cuz it will jam up the gun well no problem bb's were gone either it's company trying to perform preventive maintenance and problems good or someone had Sticky Fingers and wanted some extra BB for themselves either way that's fine I use the Crosman premium 20 G weight of shot and the gun performs perfect and I also purchased from evic the 60 shot magazine what's fits like a glove works perfect no wheel on the bottom to wind up perfect combination the only thing I have to say about my purchase I want to call the two different phone numbers listed on the paperwork airsoft store in Texas and pleco in Los Angeles I have not as of this posting July 17th have heard back from them leaves me to question if I have an issue with my Thompson I guess I'll have to resolve going back to Amazon either way value is there for the purchase that I received have fun this is not a cheap toy so be very safe

Sometimes the gun does't fire, but it looks and feels amazing as a prop.

This gun FAR exceeded my expectation...I mean, holy crap it's awesome. First off, it's the most accurate replica you're gonna get without it being the real deal. If you take off the orange tip, (only do this if it's legal in your state, please) a quick side by side on a real Thompson will show very little difference. It's FULL METAL=quality. The hard plastic of all the wooden pieces LOOKS pretty real. You can always buy the conversion kit for these to make it REAL wood. (I'm gonna do that) The weight of it is pretty realistic too WITHOUT a full drum of 45acp. Best part is it's performance. It's deadly accurate. I go to a friends house that has a full size little league field in their backyard and I can put an aluminum can on second base, stand on home plate, switch to semi automatic, and drill that can every time right where I want it to hit. Fully automatic? *Joey Tribbiani voice* "Forget about it." Shreds through those cans like tinfoil! I even recently setup a TWO BOX target in my room last week and shot at it across the room...Big mistake. I put a bunch of BB sized divots in the drywall. Yikes, won't do that again. LOL I HAVE NOT shot a human being with this and I don't know if I will. My brother offered buuuuuut I haven't committed to actually doing it for the above reasons. Make sure you DON'T wind the drum the wrong way. You will break it. Buy a couple drum mags! Buy the stick mags too! Price was excellent. You get the same exact product as the other listing that has more reviews, CHEAPER and considering this gun was originally 300.00 retail a few years ago...What a deal! Feel free to ask questions! I respond to all! :DDid I mention I made all my money back this past Halloween entering costume contests? I did now! Special thanks to airsoftUSA for a speedy delivey!

I LOVE shooting. Doesn't matter what: real guns, pneumatic artillery, bows and arrows, air guns, airsoft guns - whatever. Here in California people are all freaky about guns. Can't even fire off a few rounds in your own back yard without someone losing his or her mind. It's ridiculous. Anyway, this thing is awesome. Out of the box it's one of the best airsoft guns available and is actually a pretty decent replica of the original Thompson machine gun. I love taking a break from work, stepping out the back door to the yard and firing off a few hundred rounds at whatever. Also makes an excellent bush or tree trimming tool!

overall this thompson is a pretty nice gun except for a few things. It is really heavy and since im only 12 i have a little trouble looking down the sight. another thing that i dislike about this gun is that the hop up is crazy. once you shoot the gun the bbb flys up and then falls again. The baxs system doesnt really make a difference. I use .12 bbs so im not sure waht it would be like for different bbs. I also do not like the drum since you have to wind it after about 20 rounds. The last thing i dislike about this gun is that while useing semi auto you have hold the trigger untl the bullet fires or it wont work in which you go to full auto for a while and then got back to semi. although on the other hand this gun is very durable, has great fps ( It hurts a lot when your hit with it which is entertaining), the battery lasts a long time, and it is all metal except for the stock which is plastic not wood
