It's a fantastic machine. The kit has everything you need to start, even if you are a beginner. The instructions are excellent. I began by melting regular aluminum cans, and I could melt many cans in less than one hour. I find it safe to use indoors in my garage because the machine is electric, and I don't have to deal with fires. The electrical cord is heavy, and it will not get hot. I can melt aluminum, aloy, and thin wires.The machine does not require a special electrical plug; I plug it into the regular 110v wall outlet, but it is a dedicated outlet. I do not have children or pets, and I consider the machine safe. The machine is medium-sized, and I could have used it on a craft bench, but I placed it on the floor for safety reasons. I find the machine easy to use, and I use it to melt scrap jewelry metal, and it does a good job. I am a beginner at melting metal, and my experience with the machine is favorable.

I ordered this electric melting furnace to start working with aluminum scrap and other small metal projects at home, and it’s worked perfectly. I actually bought it to help melt and recycle some old aluminum, and play around with melting silver. So far, it’s been a great entry point into metal casting without the hassle of propane.The setup was a lot more straightforward than I expected. You literally just plug it in, flip the switch, and let it heat up. It takes a little while to reach the needed temperature, especially for aluminum or copper, but once it’s hot, it maintains heat very well and it's so easy to do the pour. I’ve already done a few successful melts, and the results are pretty cool. It’s a surprisingly sturdy unit for the price, and I like that it comes with the basic accessories you need to get started. And even though it’s compact, it feels really well-made.

This Electric furnace is well made and works great. I have a lot of scrap aluminum wire from past projects and this is making the pile smaller. It is easy to set up and use. I think it will pay for itself with the wire I will melt and sell.

This thig is really really cool. I plan on using my 3d printer with this to make aluminum casts. It heated up fast and melted the scrap aluminum i had laying around fast. Comes with everything you need to melt. Check the picture out 2 blocks in a matter of hrs. Great product if your into this type of DIY stuff.

Nice smelting furnace had a little trouble setting it up the first time got an error but customer service was able to help resolve the issue works well and seems to be quite efficient

This is a heavy, solid unit! Comes with everything needed to get started! It works very well and seems like a very well built solid unit. Many uses and can save/make money and pay for itself!

I'm using to melt lead to cast 50cal ball. Works great. I'll try other metals soon. Definitely works better than the one I got at a big store known for fishing.

We bought this to try our hand at melting our own scrap metal down. It's a very solid unit and came very well packaged so nothing moved around in transit and was very well protected. Comes with everything you need to get started. We were able to get some metal on the way to being melted very quickly. It's now become a fun family activity. We are very encouraged by the high quality of this brand and we are confident it will last us many years.
