Remote bought to replace existing remote where batteries corroded by batteries. All of a sudden the fan wouldn't work. Horrors! So we t online to find a replacement remote that would work with my new light/60" ceiling fan. Thank heaven found this AND BOUGHT THE INSURANCE! HAVE TO SYNC TO MY FAN. An easy intuitive click. Worked right away. A bit expensive but had no other option. Needed this specific remote. READ FULL DESCRIPTION ON PRODUCT to ensure you are buying the right one. Not sure about battery life but will watch it far more closely.

Finally got it to work. No thanks to instruction.I was about to rebox it and return it because, based on following instructions, fan would not sync with remote. Tried for 2 days. Finally, I saw a button under the battery cover “learn” which is no where on instructions. I pushed that button for a few seconds and the fan synced immediately. Don’t follow instruction. Use that “learn” button. That’s why it’s 4 stars and not 5.

I had to replace my remote that controls my very high ceiling fan which I purchased from a large store. The problem for me was although it worked it was very expensive to me. So I’m extra careful now and keep in in a draw.

My husband was getting ready to take the fan down and replace it! I found the exact remote on line and thought I'd check to see if it would work before spending $$$ on an electrician or new fan. This worked pretty much out of the box. There's a tiny button inside. I pressed that and VOIKA! Worked like a charm. So happy with this purchase.
