this works amazing ! it comes with its own case as well so you can put it away, doesnt take up much room either, charges fairly quickly the tesla. easy to connect as well. very durable as well this is a must have !

I've been using the Unitek Portable Tesla Wall Charger for a few weeks now, and I'm incredibly impressed. It's a fantastic alternative to the Tesla Mobile Connector and offers some great advantages. The 32Amp/7KW output charges my Model Y significantly faster than the standard 120V Level 1 charging. The ability to switch between Level 1 and Level 2 charging is incredibly convenient, especially when traveling or visiting places without dedicated Tesla charging infrastructure. Setup was a breeze, and the build quality feels solid and durable. The cable is a good length, and the overall design is compact enough to easily store in my frunk. Highly recommend this charger for any Tesla owner looking for a reliable and portable charging solution.

Months ago we purchased a preowned electric car and we really needed this. Great to have at home. Easy to use. Charges fast enough for us. Good Quality. We ordered a mounting pole and it’s been great for us. So far so good. Works really well and we have had it for about 5 months now and still going strong with no problems.

It’s been a few months now and I don’t have any complaints about this charger. If anything it’s been a relief to use this affordable charging system at home. It saves a great amount of time, almost by half, and we don’t have to worry as much about having a full charge in order to commute to work. It’s very durable, we keep it outside but always covered when not in use. It’s been in rain, snow, wind and no issues whatsoever, it’s doing its job!

I have been testing several of these off-brand EV chargers. Safety is my number one concern and this charger does appear to be safe. I monitored the thermals over the course of charging for many hours and in many different charging sessions. All the thermals were normal. I feel safe using this charger and would buy one for family or a friend.

The Unitek 32 Amp Tesla Level 2 Charger is a decent charger because of the size, the material finishes on the cable are good but the charger itself feels like a cheaper plastic housing. The cable is nice and thick thicker to accommodate for the heat, it does get quite warm while charging at 32 amps. The cord length is ok, would like it to be longer! It has a nice small Tesla connection handle with a decent gripping surface. It weighs a decent 5.96 pounds!It is nice that this device includes a digital readout that tells you information from this unit such as time on charge, voltage, and temperature. Sure, the Tesla tells you some of this information, but the temperature is an essential piece of data which it can’t tell you and because there is the ability to put adapters to use with CCS1 and J1772 connections you could use this with something other than a Tesla.This device is plug and play. Though you can go through the menu and set the charge rate that you want it to be at, I see no reason to go down from the top rate of 32 amps if you have it available since it automatically sets it to whatever the top input current rate is. I was using this to charge up my 2021 Tesla Model Y and it was sustaining 32 amps. I have this connected through an extension cable that is coming off of a 50-amp breaker. The handle gets warm after hours of charging.While the listing states that the temperature operating range is up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, the back actual shows 176 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a really high operating temperature which is much needed improvement because I have seen competing products hit temperatures as high as 141 degrees Fahrenheit in my Texas garage over the summer.The device definitely needs that bandwidth in order to not fall to far outside of the operating temperature because I had an EVDance charger that gave out after a while from hitting 141 degree highs and then started throttling the charger down to 118 degrees at the max, which dropped my power transfer rate to as low as 29 amps. I’ll see if this charger lasts because the materials seem to be inferior to the EVDance when it comes to the housing.The carrying case is made out of a durable nylon that looks and feels good, and easily accommodates for the size of the charger and cable. It has a nice rubberized bottom to keep from slipping. The handle is lacking though. It is just a standard piece of nylon with no space in between the bag and the handle.

I recently ordered this Level 1 & 2 charger and have been highly satisfied with its performance. I've used Unitek products before, and the reliability and quality are great. The build quality is excellent, with a very durable cable that feels much sturdier than some other brands I've tried. While the cord is not 25 feet, it hasn’t been a significant issue for me.One of the charger’s standout features is its adaptability. Its auto-sensing technology automatically adjusts to the power source, ensuring optimal charging speeds. The included accessory bag makes it easy to take on the go, and the built-in hook is a convenient feature for hanging the charger that doesn't normally come with an EV charger.The on-screen display could be more user-friendly, but this is a minor drawback considering the charger’s primary purpose. I have a Tesla , so most interface options are done through my Tesla app anyway. The charging speed is comparable to the original adapter, and its compatibility with both 120V and 240V outlets makes it a valuable investment for any electric vehicle owner. I haven't tried the 240V option yet though.Overall, this charger is a reliable and efficient charging solution. If you’re looking for a portable and dependable option, I highly recommend this charger from Unitek.
