I needed a USB "A" male to USB "C" male for a new Sandisk® external solid state drive (SSD). These adapters worked fine. However, the first pair I received were BOTH "non-functional", as tested on a new PC. Tried different cables, but no joy. I found it a bit odd that both did not work.BUT, Amazon® sent a replacement pair the next day, and both work just fine. (see photos)

After 1 month of use I have no problems with the product. The speed is advertised and the dongle did not break due to overheating.

Smallest vibration and it and the device gets disconnected for a second. It is really annoying.

I bought these to connect my phone which has USB C input, to my new car stereo deck, which has a USB type A cable.I specifically wanted an adapter as opposed to a cable because as I stated, the stereo already has a cable, and I didn't want any additional cordage or clutter littering my dashboard area.This fit the bill nicely, and they work - however, I'm glad these came in a 2-pack, because the first adapter I tried struggled to maintain a constant connection between my phone and the stereo.It would constantly cut out, lose the signal, or just not connect at all.I tried the second adapter in the pack and after a week of testing it works just fine, with no signal issues at all.So yeah, these work, but in my experience there's an inconsistency to their quality, just know that going in should you decide to purchase these.
