With the help of this valve spring compressor tool, it only takes a matter of seconds to install the valves spring assembly in your vehicle. Simply align the holes on the aluminum body of the valve spring compressor with the ones on the head, bolt it using the provided short bolts, place the valve spring, retainer and retainer cap on the retainers, bolt down the long bolt, place the keepers using the magnetized screwdriver, and voila! This is the best designed and easy to use tool for a Honda head I’ve ever used. Be sure to lubricate the threads and I wouldn’t put an impact on it. Hand is fine.

Nothing worked for my LS, the bolts were too big, the position of it was way off and even with me trying to MacGyver something to make it work it just won’t work for it

Used on a b18c1 head. Some people reviewed these negatively because apparently the main bolt hole would strip out but I literally didn’t have any problem. I used these on all 16 valves multiple times, and even the blue anodizing is still perfect in the threads. I used ALL of the supplied bolt lubricant and never had an issue. Super easy and fast to use.

Product is great and all but one ofThe threads on the valve compressor are messed up and will need cleaned up still haven’t tried it but I already know it will perform good

This item is GREAT!!! Came very fast and works perfectly... It takes some getting used to for valve keeper (lock) install but once you get it down you'll fly through spring installs... Valve spring removal is a breeze..Only caveat.. I wish it came with two valve spring cups(?) and bolts... This way you can do both springs while your bolted in.. instead of fully removing the bolt each time... ehhh small things.Regardless this item is a MUST have!

I was able to easily replace the valve seals on my B18C while the head was still attached to the block. I highly recommend this. tool quality was excellent!
