Warm Tips: Those connectors and installation steps are suitable for waterproof and non-waterproof light strips
Ensure your LED light strip is 10mm wide which has 3 contacts and make sure all the contacts are clean.
Open the cover of connector up to 60 degrees.
Cut the light strip into the length you need.
Insert your LED strip to the end of strip side of connector, keep the pu surface face up, with the 3 contacts of the led strip sitting on the 3pins of the clasp. Make sure that the positive and negative electrodes on the light strips at both ends of the connector are corresponding.
Close the transparent cap with a plier until it is fully seated on both sides of the bottom base to ensure firmness.
The connection is complete, confirm whether the light bar can work normally.

Usually I opt to solder the strips together to get the strongest connection between two strips but thought I would give these a try and see if it makes installing strip lights any easier. And my verdict is that they do indeed make it easier to connect the strip lights together. I used them for some indoor strip lights that I installed around the living room ceiling. They just clip right on and stay put pretty well. There was only one connection that was a little iffy (the lights were flickering) and all I had to do was re-seat that connector to the strip lights and they started to work properly. Overall, these are a great way to connect your indoor/outdoor strips together. Would commend if you don't want to solder them together.

The concept is great but the execution of the design.... not so much.Very difficult to align the wire with the prongs because instead of being inline the prongs are positioned at a 90° angle.Could be me but I was not impressed when I tried to use these for my project.

These worked great to connect my LED strips. I used them on IP67 LED strips, but you will have to trim down the plastic sheathing and epoxy if used for those type of waterproof strips. Otherwise, easy to use and got the job done!

No issues with this item, really not much to say , easy install and quality is what I expected it to be for the price range . More than adequate for what I am using it for .
